1. Indoor Volleyball: Played on a hardwood court with 6 players per team.
2. Beach Volleyball: Played on sand with 2 players per team.
3. Libero Volleyball: A variation that emphasizes defensive play.

Volleyball requires various skills:

1. Serving - starting the play
2. Passing - receiving the serve and directing the ball to the setter
3. Setting - positioning the ball for attackers
4. Hitting - attacking the ball to score
5. Blocking - defending at the net

Volleyball Positions

In volleyball, each position has its own role:

1. Setter (S) - sets the ball for attackers
2. Outside Hitters (OH) - primary attackers
3. Middle Blockers (MB) - specialize in blocking and attacking at the net
4. Libero (L) - defensive specialist limited to the back row
5. Opposite Hitters (OPP) - attack from the right side

Volleyball Basic Rules

The objective is to score points by hitting the ball over the net and making it land on the opponent's side.
A match is typically best 2 out of 3 or best 3 out of 5 sets.
A set is played to 25 points, with a minimum lead of 2 points.
