The U17 National team qualified for the U17 AFCON recently and their U20 side followed suit yesterday in Khartoum by edging Ethiopia in the CECAFA Zone qualifiers semi to qualify for the the U20 AFCON set to be held in Egypt next year.

South Sudan will face Uganda, who beat hosts Sudan 2-0 in the other semi, in the final of the CECAFA U20 Zonal Qualifiers for the AFCON U20 Tournament.
