Another historic moment for us... Grateful for the newly donated equipment from KYHD Kenya Youth Hockey Development especially for the first ever Goalkeepers' kits. Now all the kids can participate fully with the added sticks, balls, shoes, bibs and jerseys. What a joyous moment for the project!

The numbers have grown, and we keep working harder every Saturday at Lcc Lukenya from 3pm to 6:30pm.

The most impactful part of our training sessions happens when the sticks are set aside and the circle forms. It is in these team talks that we have dedicated space for the kids to take ownership of their own growth. Instead of just listening to instructions from their coaches, they narrate their own progress, articulating what they discovered during the drills. Watching a young player explain a new technique or a lesson they have learnt to their peers is a powerful reminder that true learning happens through expression. It’s about giving them the floor and the confidence to say, "This is what I mastered today." Looking forward to the next session over the weekend.

Last holiday's HIGHLIGHT!! A special day for our junior ladies at City Park, Nairobi in an unforgettable girls-only hockey experience. For many, it was their first time in Nairobi and their first time playing at City Park, making it a moment filled with excitement, courage, and new dreams. Beyond the games, this was about exposure, confidence, and belonging. The smiles, teamwork, and resilience on display showed just how far these young girls are coming. What started small is growing—our numbers are rising, and so is belief. This is more than hockey; it’s a journey of empowerment, opportunity, and transformation.
