MENTORSHIP COHORT 3 - PERSONAL FINANCE TOPIC

Financial literacy as a key pillar for sustainable livelihoods and long-term peacebuilding. This session focuses on strengthening mentees capacity in personal finance, savings and investment planning, and economic empowerment.

Through the Maskani Yetu for Peace Project young people are gaining practical tools to improve financial decision-making and enhance economic participation which will ensure sustainable livelihood and active sustainable peace building actions. MENTORSHIP COHORT 3 - CONFLICT P/R/M

During this session young leaders engaged deeply in conflict prevention, resolution, and management—strengthening practical skills in dialogue facilitation, active listening, mediation, and non-violent response.

Through scenario-based learning and peer exchange, participants enhanced their capacity to identify early warning signs, de-escalate tensions, and promote sustainable peace within their communities. Empowered with tools for constructive engagement and restorative approaches,

This session encouraged them to step forward as accountable leaders committed to building safer, more cohesive spaces.

We are delighted to commence these insightful mentorship sessions, topic on Effective Leadership for our 3rd Cohort! Held at the Maskani Yeti Center (Kisauni), this session focused on equipping the participants with the skills, tools to drive positive change and foster sustainable peace in our communities.

Conducted under the Maskani yetu for peace project , supported through the Kujenga Amani Project , a project dedicated to peacebuilding and youth/women empowerment. Earlier today at Maskani Yetu Center, film screenings and theatre performances opened safe spaces for youth to discuss peacebuilding, strengthen understanding, and urged a culture of compassion and unity.
