Sowing Good Seeds

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:78, NIV)

Whether you realize it or not, everything you are experiencing in your life today is a direct result of the seeds you’ve sown in your past. Today, you are planting seeds for the harvest in your future. Just as the farmer expects a crop from the seeds he sows, we can expect a harvest from the seeds we’ve sown, good or bad. That’s why we have to be deliberate about the seeds we are sowing. We have to wake up every day and set our minds on God’s Word and choose to speak His truth over our lives. We have to constantly evaluate our actions to make sure we are depositing good seeds so we can reap a good harvest in the future.

Why don’t you take some time right now to ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and mind? See if there are any negative seeds that you’ve sown in the past that need to be uprooted. Be deliberate about planting the Word of God in the soil of your heart. Sow good seeds into your future so you can reap the harvest of blessing God has designed for you!

Father, thank You for the system of sowing and reaping. Thank You for giving me good seed to sow! I ask that You search my heart and mind and show me where to sow my seed so I can reap the abundant harvest You have for me in Jesus name. Amen.

Remain in Him

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5, NIV)

Have you ever really thought about the relationship between a branch and the vine? We don’t use these kinds of word pictures much these days, but think about it—if the branch is not attached to the vine, it withers and dies. The very life of the branch depends on it being attached to the vine. The same thing happens if we try to operate in this life without Jesus. Without Him, we can do nothing. We are cut from our life source. But when you remain in Him by daily connecting with Him through prayer, worship and study of the Word, then your life will be fruitful. You’ll walk in joy and blessing. Notice that this verse says “much fruit.” It’s saying that you will have an abundant harvest in your life.

Remember, God doesn’t want you to just barely get by. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness! Choose to make Him your top priority, and you’ll see His hand of blessing as you remain in Him!

Father, thank You for being my source of life. Thank You for Your hand of blessing that is leading and guiding me. I choose to make You my number one priority. Help me to remain strong and connected in you in Jesus' name! Amen.

YOUR HEART, YOUR DESTINY

The state of your heart determines your place on the earth. It takes an open heart to open up your earth. If your heart is closed, your earth will be closed.

The purer the heart, the greater your possession on the earth. Matthew 5:8. To the pure all things are pure and to the impure, all things are impure. What the engine is in a car is what the heart is to a destiny.

Destiny will crash if the heart is broken. The race of life will slow down and be scuttled if the engine is not sound. Everything that is wrong in life has its root in the heart, you cannot possess a right heart and end with a wrong destiny.

STAND ALONE

“Those that walk, walk with many.

Those that run, run with a few.

Those who fly, fly alone.”

You don’t go up in a group. You do so only as an individual. Never be afraid to stand alone.

Be focused and be undistracted.

Don’t look for who will join you; just be content to be joined to God.

One gone voice is more effectual and impactful than grown noise.

Elijah was a lone voice on the mountains.

John was a voice in the wilderness that shook the city.

You don’t have to go round to make rounds nor make noise to make news.

Take delight in carrying people along but dare to fly alone whenever situations comes to that.

Jesus was prepared to fly alone when He queried them; wont you also go?” – Jh.6:66,67

It is those who stand alone that can fulfill purpose as purpose is never fulfilled in a group or by a group.

Without timely and appropriate withdrawal from people you can never succeed in making impact on people

DEFENDER OF THE DEFENCELESS

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy
life: as I was with Moses, So I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Joshua 1:5

God is worthy to be praised at every moment of our lives. He is our strength, our rock, our fortress, our shield and high tower. Proverbs 18:10 tells us that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous can always run to at any time and remain secure. The Almighty God is the security upon which one should base his life. These days when there is no nation that does not have its own share of the global security crises, it is certain that unless the Lord watches over you, you become vulnerable to the evil events flying around. God is the only guarantee and assurance of our faith; hence, you can be confident that you will always be delivered even in extreme circumstances. Sometimes, God will allow us to fall into a great calamity before He comes visiting. He does this just to reassure you that nothing is over until He says so. He wants us to have an evidence of His deliverance in our lives for future purposes.

Are you in any problem? Don’t worry, as long as you are righteous, you can be assured that help is on the way. He rules in the affairs of men to deliver the righteous from calamity. It doesn’t matter the magnitude of the problems confronting you, just believe that He is never late. He will stand by you during all the attacks of the enemies. All the lies and ganging up of the enemies against your life may be launched, but you will come out victorious because you have made the Lord your delight. Several times, God will just want to stand by you in order to convince those around you that it doesn’t matter how much the waters the enemies want to sink you in is, His faithfulness will always draw you out.

God is King over all nations of the world. He is mightier than those who are playing god in your life. As we saw His acts in the case of Paul and Silas

A couple was filing for a divorce in court, they both wanted to share the kids equally but unfortunately they had three children.

WIFE: your honour, I will go with two kids while he goes with one, I'm their mother and my children will not grow without the presence of their mum😏

Husband: No your honor, I'm the one who's going away with two kids while she goes with one, I'm their father and I have to be present for my children 😏

JUDGE: You both want to go away with two kids, what are we going to do now?

Husband and his Wife step out of the boxes and start whispering into each other's ears.

Few minutes later, they smile and say "Your honor, we've come to a conclusion, give us a year, we will come again with this matter. We want to make another kid so we'll be able to share the children equally" 🤭

Nine months later, they were blessed with twins 😂🙆‍♂️

Success demands these 6 things..

1. Hard Work

Don't believe in luck, believe in hard work.

Stop trying to rush the process or searching for a shortcut.

There is none.

3. Sacrifice

If you don't sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice.

Everything has its price. The question is: Are you ready to pay it for the life you desire?

4. Consistency

Consistency is what transforms average into excellence.

Without consistency, you will never achieve greater success.

5. Discipline

Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing.

There will be days when you don't “feel” like doing it.

You have to push through those days regardless of how you feel.

6. Self Confidence

Confidence is, I'll be fine if they don't like me.

Topic: Evangelism and it's benefits

Sub Topic: WHO WHOULD EVANGELISE

Main Text: Dan 12:3, Mark 16:20, Mathew 28:18-20

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. [20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
So far in this topic we have understood what evangelism is and how to evangelise. Today we look at the sub topic - Who should evangelise?

Now, every one that is born again has got the responsibility of soul winning/evangelism. It is not the sole responsibility of pastors, teachers and evangelists. The ordination into soul willing is clearly stated in John 15:16 which says - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

However we don't see this happening in practical terms today, hence the need for this teaching today.

Some key factors for effective evangelism
In order to be effective in Soul winning, every born again believer need to take into consideration the following factors.

1) Accept the responsibility of a soul winner - Luke 9:1, Luke 10:1,19 - In these verses, we see Jesus sending His disciples for evangelism, they were willing, they went and returned with testimonies

2) Understand the value of one soul in the eyes of God Luke 15:7 - I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

3) Have compassion for the lost souls - if you love your fellow brother/sister, you don't want to see an

As Human beings,we sometimes feel insecure because of what is happening within our environment or that which is going on around the world. For example,stealing,killing,destruction of lives,wars,strange sicknesses and diseases ravaging lives of people throughout the world.
Psalms 91:1-16 tells us that God of heaven is the only sure security we have for our protection against form of insecurity and uncertainty. We should trust in God and depend on him all the time no matter the evil going on around us.There is a surety from God to protect His people. Therefore get connected to God,surrender your life to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and see Jimmy become your fortress. God bless you.
