The CAVB has officially moved the 2026 Men’s Africa Volleyball Championship from Kinshasa, DR Congo, to Tunis, Tunisia, citing health and safety concerns.
Sept 13–26, 2026
Competition: Sept 15–25
Arrival: Sept 13 | Departure: Sept 26

The championship will also serve as a qualification pathway for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games and the 2027 FIVB Volleyball World Cup.

CAVB reaffirmed its strong partnership with the Congolese Volleyball Federation and expressed hope to see Kinshasa host a future edition.
