The Sports and Arts Fund (SAF) is established under the Public Finance Management (Sports, Arts and Social Development Fund) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 and mandated to provide funding to support the development and promotion of Sports and Arts.

The staff of the Fund took part in a tree growing exercise in the designated region for state department for Sports in Mt. Elgon area, Bungoma county.
This is in line with the presidential Directive of planting 15 billion trees by 2032 in the country.
