By the grace of God, this team left Nairobi with a goal of climbing Mt Kenya in 3 days. Excitedly we prepared and headed towards Nanyuki ready to face this prestigious tourist destination via Sirimon route.
With the help of our able potters and guides, we slowly approached point Lenana, the roof of Kenya by trekking up this mountain. We were tired, sleepy, out of strength, some of us wanted to go back, our body shut down and the only operating thing was the mind. We pushed through the summit, encouraging and motivating each other as a team until EVERYONE sumitted 🔥🔥
The smile on our faces, the happiness we felt was unexplainable. This is a great achievement and we take home so many life lessons.
