To kick this year off, Nawezaa is implementing its first activity of the month which is to establish a SPORTS NETWORK. Nawezaa’s main goal being committed to unlocking the hidden potentials of refugees and host community, we have gone in search to find potential football teams for recruitment. With the help of the community connections, we were able to find two amazing teams by the names of MAZINGIRA YOUTH CLUB and JUNIOR REGINS.
We’ve set up meetings with the teams and made assessments of their needs, requirements and established a documented structure of the teams as found. We were able to facilitate the purchasing of football equipments that will be used during trainings and matches as well.
This marks a beautiful journey by Nawezaa to establish a sports network that fosters integration and creating opportunities for skilled individuals. Watch this space and show love to our teams!!!
