Ulinzi Starlets FC Honours Late Coach Wambua Mwanza “Clop”

Yesterday, the Ulinzi Starlets FC technical bench—led by Assistant Coach Clive and team captain Everlyne Juma—alongside FKF Women’s Administrator Neddy Atieno and Diana Shakava, visited Kisayani FC to honour the memory of the late Coach Wambua Mwanza Wambua, fondly known as Clop.

Coach Clop, who sadly passed away last year after a brave battle with cancer, is remembered as the most decorated coach in Ulinzi Starlets’ history. He famously led the team to three consecutive FKF Women’s Cup titles, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, discipline, and passion.

During the visit, the team presented a set of jerseys—specially printed by Mwanaspoti Centre—to Kisayani FC, in recognition of Coach Clop’s roots and impact in the community.

His legacy lives on, not only in trophies but in the heart and lives of the players and coaches he mentored.♥️

The Women coaches will play against the FKF County Branch committee setting the stage for the highlight of the day......a match between Kiambu select against NSL side Gaspo ladies. this match will produce fireworks 🎆🎇. No jokes. Miss it and you miss out. See you then.
