Mt. Kenya Chogoria Route Climb
As the ultimate hiking and climbing destination in Kenya, Mt. Kenya offers a great experience for hikers and Climbers. Standing at 5199m above sea level, it is the second highest mountain in Africa. It features ice-capped peaks, breathtaking glacial valleys, and an array of glacial lakes (tarns).

Of the three popular routes, the Chogoria route stands out as the most scenic. Starting at 2950m asl at the gate, the route takes you through several attractions such as the Nithi Waterfalls, Lake Ellis, Mugi Hill, Mintos Tarn, the flat-topped Giant’s Billiard table, Gorges Valley, the 1500ft (457m) Vivienne waterfall, Lake Michaelson, Hall Tarns, The Temple cliff drop, and the Simba and Square tarns on the Summit to Point Lenana.

The Climb takes 4-5 days, exposing you to breathtaking views.
