When our founder Patrick Achola was an emerging leader, he used to routinely ask his senior leaders a variety of questions. These questions were meant to enlighten him on how to grow in my career, how to build his executive presence, and how to look and feel confident so that his leadership practice is both respected and trusted at all levels.

Patrick found it intriguing that the overall message was that new leaders often do not have a clue what to do at times and are winging it based on experience or ‘gut’ feeling. For a while, he learned the value of seeking mentorship and being coached along the way to help reduce the all-to-common pitfalls of leadership along the way.

Years later, he became a more seasoned leadership coach and he found some truth in that. He now coaches emerging leaders like YOU and he understands how at times, you will be asked to perform in ways you never had to before, you will have to learn how to lean into a bit of risk and course correct along the way.
