🔹 Mental health struggles—Isolation, pressure, and lack of resources lead to anxiety and depression.
🔹 Financial barriers—Without sponsorships or funding, many are forced to abandon their dreams.
💡 Universities, policymakers, and sports organizations must act. Investing in grassroots athlete wellness is not just about sports—it’s about equity, opportunity, and human dignity.

📍 How can we create sustainable support systems for grassroots athletes?

Cornerstone Football Academy uses the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth in developing countries to overcome their most urgent health challenges, such as mental health issues and food security.

We collect and distribute new and gently used soccer gear, clothes and food to children in disadvantaged communities across the Kibera Kawangware, and various other communities, making the sport accessible to more youths

generating projects for the orphan and vulnerable children, women and youth in the
organization and the community.

 Communal, Home and School gardens.
 International Computer Driver’s License (ICDL) accredited
 Sustainability of our 9 Care Centres in surrounding communities.
Further to ensure that we educate our community at large about work done by our
Organization in promoting societal interest and awareness on Social Development and
Empowerment ethics as prescribed in our constitution of our country.
We were only able to render these above mentioned services through the charitable
support from International and local donors. We are currently responsible for 700
number of beneficiaries.
