TO: County Club Officials and Stakeholders
SUBJECT: Call for New Leadership in Amputee Football Federation
We issue this formal call to action to address the pressing need for change in the leadership of the Amputee Football Federation. For too long, impunity and corruption have plagued the organization, hindering the progress and well-being of our players and stakeholders.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports for their unwavering support in our pursuit of reform. Their commitment to promoting transparency and accountability has been invaluable.
In light of the upcoming Special General Meeting (SGM) and election dates, we urge all county club officials to take notice and join us in demanding new leadership. It is time for a leadership that prioritizes the interests of the sport, our players, and all stakeholders.
We envision a future where the Amputee Football Federation operates with integrity, transparency, and a genuine commitment to the betterment of our community. Together, we can achieve this vision.

A beacon of hope emerges as we prepare for imminent elections. Our organization has been at the forefront of amputee football for 14 years, but we must adhere to our constitution and national sports act. We appreciate the registrar's support for this long-overdue initiative, which has been delayed for three election cycles. This transition aligns with the new Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Mr. Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen's directive to revitalize sports federations with new leadership.
The AGM was attended by 18 members from 9 county clubs across the nation.

A big day for Kenya indeed.
To day we marked UN international day for persons with disabilities in style. We officially launched the Kenya women's national amputee football team that will represent Kenya at the first World Amputee Football Federation world cup in Colombia in November 2024. We plan to recruit more players from all counties and come up with the strongest team that will garagaza any team they come across. We can't be thankful enough to Parklands Sportsclub Nairobi for their support every time we knock on their doors for support. We call on to the government through Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and other cooperates to walk this journey with us. Our journey of a thousand miles has just started.
