Off goes KSSA,in comes TalantaHela trophy 🏆 that is big and ready.

It's encouraging to see that the whole nation led by the Ministry incharge of Sports has discovered raw talent is down there in our villages and at the bottom end of the pyramid. And it's there where all the focus has turned to.

With the huge number of bottom up based well structured tournaments targeting our youth below 20years,Kenyan soccer is surely destined for greatness.

TalantaHela trophy tournament (InterCounty U19 Football Festival) is kicking off this Friday at 1pm at Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret.

The devolution derby; Uasin Gishu vs Baringo shall be happening in the city of Champions..This gonna be the show stopper of this years Devolution Conference. Its a game that no one shall afford to miss.

THE INTER COUNTY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT SET FOR LAUNCH THIS FRIDAY

Talanta Hela Trophy Tournament, an initiative championed by The President Dr William Samoe Ruto as a way of appreciating talents is set and ready for take off this Friday under the leadership of Super CS Hon Ababu-Terrah Egh

The Inter-County U19 football tournament will bring together teams from the 47 counties, who's top under 19 talented teams will battle it out for the trophy, to ensure the championship goes to their respective counties. And will officially kick off at the Kip Keino Stadium this Friday on the ongoing Devolution Conference which will see Uasin Gishu taking on Baringo in the first game of the tournament.

The tournament seeks to spot talents across the all part of this nation, and thus helping grow, support and Monetising talent right from grassroots to the National stages, further transitioning to world footballing stars

The tournament compliments exactly what the is and seeks to achieve as far as Sports Revival is concerned.

CS ABABU MEETS COUNTY CECMS AND SPORT OFFICERS TO DISCUSS THE UPCOMING BOTTOM UP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

On the sidelines of the Devolution Conference 2023 held in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, CS Hon Ababu-Terrah Egh held deliberations with the County Governments Representatives for Sports from all the 47counties ahead of the Talanta Hela Football Tournament set for launch this friday.

The meeting sought to provide an update on the County Governments preparedness for the tournament, exchange ideas on how the tournament will run as well as agree on the regional venues for the games.

CS Ababu, who was flanked by the Kenya Academy of Sports CEO Dr. Doreen Odhiambo and Sports Kenya DG Pius Metto, thanked for their invaluable presence considering the hectic schedule brought about by the 10 years celebration of devolution in Kenya.

"Our goal is to ensure a seamless and memorable event that not only showcases our country's strengths but also fosters camaraderie among participants and spectators. I am certain that we cannot fail to achieve this," noted the CS.

He assured the CECMs that his Ministry and the Government recognised the significance of working together with the county government to foster sports in Kenya.

"This is an Initiative that I want us to be part and parcel of until the last minute.I believes we can work and work well if we join hands to drive this project," he added.

CS Ababu Namwamba assured the CECMs that his ministry officials were under instruction to thwart any forms of mischief in the tournament. "Our officers are under firm instructions to arrest any form of mischief related to Age and Nationality. This not only endanger our children but also greatly dents the reputation of our Country."

He rallied the CECMs and County Sports officers to lead the proces in their respective counties, towards ensuring that they delivered a memorable event.
