If your main aim is shedding off that extra fat, always have your fitness trainer take your %body fat, the scale is never the best indicator. Any workout program should contain resistance training, and with that comes a bit of muscle gain. For most this reflects on the scale(the added weight) and even though you might be shedding off the 'BAD WEIGHT' don't be surprised to see a stagnation or even a higher reading on the weighing scale.

What happens if my glutes are weak?

Weakness in the hips and glutes is common among those of us with a sedentary lifestyle.

If you spend 8 hours or more a day seated, your glutes atrophy through under use. When this happens, these muscles cannot activate correctly.
If a muscle isn’t contracted, the muscle nerve neurons become dormant.

“The lower back becomes dominant and the glutes are neglected. This results in bad posture and bad form when you exercise.”

The body is an interconnected system. If the muscles do not fire where and when they’re supposed to, other muscles compensate, which can result in strain or injury.

For example:

Weak glutes can’t stabilize your pelvis, which causes it to tilt forward. This puts pressure on your lower spine.
The lower back can be injured if it is forced to do the hip-extending job of the glutes.
The ankles can be strained if misused due to improper alignment caused by inactive glutes.

I have fallen in love with this fruit (or is it even a fruit) of late its health benefits are insane, when you hear they are 77% fat by calories you would probably freak out and say NEVER to them but consider this.
Avocados are among the best sources of potassium in the diet, even containing 40% more potassium than bananas, a typical high potassium food.

They’re also a great source of fiber, and studies have shown that they can lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, while raising HDL (the “good”) cholesterol

Even though they are high in fat and calories, one study shows that people who eat avocados tend to weigh less and have less belly fat than those who don’t
Oh and the Fats are monounsaturated, that's just complicated talk for good fats, and i used to hate them growing up, why didn't Mama smack me for that. LETS ALL EAT AVOCADOS.

never skip leg day, Saturday is supposed to be my rest day but i didn't hit legs this week, so hooked up with my boy Mark For a couple of heavy squats and dead lifts. GOOD SESSION!
