This Red Light Mat has officially become one of my favourite daily wellness rituals.

TRX really is one of those workouts that gives you everything in one. Strength, cardio, balance, mobility, flexibility and core all at the same time. Because you are using your own body weight and working against gravity, every move challenges the body in such a different way.

A full body TRX workout helps to:
• Build lean muscle
• Strengthen the core
• Improve posture and balance
• Increase mobility and flexibility
• Get the heart rate up for cardio
• Support stability and coordination
• Work all the small muscles that are often missed in other workouts

The best part? You can make it as easy or as challenging as you want. Add weights, gliders or pulses and suddenly the burn hits very differently.

Here is what I have been up to for the last 2 weeks ( PS: not for the sensitive kind). My life may look all perfect and easy from outside, but no one’s ever is. I created this page to share my journey and help inspire others to do the same and be open and honest about it. So this is my truth. After doing extensive research and going back and forth on the idea of extracting my 3 root canals, I finally did it! This is me taking control of my own health and well being. Thank you to my amazing doctor Peter for pushing me through an 8 hour surgery, and for convincing me to get rid of my cavitations, another hidden place for bacteria to grow a home in the mouth. Our oral health is so important and even though I have had to learn my lessons the hard way, I am still grateful for the learning, drive and strength to do what’s best for my body. If you have un known inflammation, join pains, brain fog or random undiagnosed symptoms and have had a root canal, I urge you to get them out as soon as possible 🙏🏽🧿♥️. I promise you will thank yourself you did 🧿🙏🏽♥️.

There is just something about Barre that hits differently. The burn creeps in slowly, the cardio builds gradually, and before you know it every tiny muscle in your body is shaking. And trust me, those little muscles matter more than you think.

Barre is all about those small, controlled, isometric movements that target the muscles we often forget to work. The ones that help with posture, balance, stability, strength and injury prevention. It may look simple, but if you know… you know. Ask anyone who has done a Barre class with me and they will tell you how they felt the next day.

It is one of the reasons so many athletes use Barre-inspired movements in their training and warm ups too. Runners, cyclists, dancers, tennis players, footballers and skiers all use these types of exercises to build strength in the smaller stabilising muscles that support the bigger ones.
