Psalm 20 challenges us to check where we’re placing our trust. Are we looking to human solutions first, or turning to God? Are we trying to fight battles in our own strength, or surrendering them in prayer?

🧎‍♀️ Before you fight — pray. Before you panic — pause. Before you move — remember who God is.

Scored for Liverpool, but belongs to JESUS. 🕊️👑
Champions on the pitch, chosen in the Spirit.

“I’d rather walk by faith, not by my foolish sight. Please Lord, lead me on.”

Faith isn’t about having it all figured out instead it’s about trusting the One who already does.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

In the game of life, just like on the pitch, we don’t always see the next move. But when we let Christ lead, we never walk alone.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

Let’s lace up not just our boots, but our trust fully surrendered to the God who knows the way, even when we don’t. ⚽✝️

Life—just like football—is full of highs and lows. We celebrate wins, but we also know the sting of loss, injury, and waiting seasons.

In John 16:22, Jesus tells His disciples, “So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.”

This wasn’t just about their moment it’s about ours too. Right now, life may feel like the tough half of the match. But He’s coming back. And when we see Him again, there’ll be joy that no one can steal not pain, not failure, not even death.

So even in the sorrow, hold on. The full-time whistle hasn’t blown yet. Victory is coming and it’s eternal. ⚽✝️

“God is the Greatest” — not just in might, but in mercy.
When Moses asked, “Show me Your glory,” God responded not with thunder or fire, but with His name: “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love…” (Exodus 34:6).

His greatness is not limited to power over creation (Psalm 147:5) but extends to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), the sinner in need of grace (Romans 5:8), and the outcast longing for home (Luke 15).

In a world chasing applause and crowns, the true measure of greatness is a God who stooped to serve, who bore a cross, and who conquered death not with violence, but with love. Truly, there is none like Him. 🙌🏽🔥

Took this testimony to his profile saying – God’s Grace Is Sufficient 💙

We don’t move by our strength, talent, or tactics. It’s Gods GRACE that’s carries us. God’s grace is not just sufficient, it’s everything. It gives life, direction, strength, and even the calm in chaos. Football may be the game, but GRACE is our game plan.⚽🙏🏾

📖 “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

📖 “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” – 2 Peter 1:3

To the baller reading this: maybe you’ve been tired lately be it mentally, emotionally, even physically. Maybe the pressure to perform is louder than your peace. But hear this—you don’t have to carry it all. Grace means you don’t have to be perfect, just present. Daily. Ask Him. Believe in Him. Rest in Him. God’s grace is not a backup plan, it’s the whole playbook.

Let His grace coach you, lead you, comfort you and watch what He does with your journey, both on and off the pitch.

He Is Risen – Victory Is Ours! 🕊️⚽

*“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said…” – Matthew 28:6*

*“…which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms…” – Ephesians 1:20*

This Easter, we celebrate the greatest comeback of all time. Matthew 28:6 reminds us that the tomb is empty not because of loss, but because death has been defeated. Jesus did not stay in the grave. Just as He said, He rose in power, securing eternal victory for all who believe.

Ephesians 1:20 takes it further—this same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead now lives in us. That means we are not just spectators in this story, we are partakers in the victory.

Happy Easter!

To every footballer who daily chooses faith over fame, integrity over shortcuts, and purpose over applause. This is your call.

“Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses...”
You are not running alone. The saints before you bore witness to a life of faith, and now you carry that same torch not just in prayer rooms, but in locker rooms, training grounds, and on the pitch.

“Let us throw off everything that hinders...”
Discipline your body, but more importantly, discipline your spirit. Let go of pride, compromise, secret sin, and the distractions that weigh you down.

“...and the sin that so easily entangles.”
You know the traps ego, comparison, dishonesty. The race of faith demands clean hands and a pure heart. Don’t just play clean. Live clean.

“And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
This isn’t just about 90 minutes. It’s about eternity. Keep showing up, keep shining Christ, and keep pressing on. Football is your field but heaven is your finish line.
Let your boots carry more than talent. Let them carry testimony. 🕊️

Tag any footballer you know there 🤗
