Referees Josephine Wanjiku and Elizabeth Njoroge have been selected to officiate at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and will attend the Second WAFCON Preparation Course in Cairo, Egypt, from June 25–30, 2026.

Congratulations to the duo on this well-deserved appointment. 👏

Football Kenya Federation President Hussein Mohammed, alongside FKF Wajir Branch officials led by Chairman Abdinasir Mohamed Yussuf today paid a courtesy visit to Wajir Governor H.E. Ahmed Abdullahi, EGH.

The team discussed partnership avenues for Wajir County Government and FKF through the branch to develop football within the region. The President also congratulated the Governor for hosting a historic, memorable Madaraka Day celebration.

He later presented balls to FKF Wajir Branch to support them in their grassroots programs.
