We are in the final phase of grading and murraming the 3-kilometre stretch of road linking Bocharia O’Nyagaka to Magwero, passing through Chief Ndege’s homestead.

Once complete, this road will serve as an important alternative corridor, easing movement and enhancing accessibility for residents, traders and service providers.

It will also boost local transport efficiency, support economic activities and improve connectivity across the area.

To strengthen public safety and improve nighttime operations within Keroka town, an ongoing installation of a high-mast security light is underway behind Keroka Society.

The project is designed to enhance night visibility at this key point, making movement safer and more predictable after dark while also discouraging insecurity in areas that were previously poorly lit.

Once completed, the intervention will provide a well-lit and secure environment ensuring the area remains more accessible and safer for residents and businesses during evening and night hours.........HAPA KAZI TU!

Keroka Beyond SDA Church and Laikipia University Freternity have lost one of their most promising young members, Sheila a second-year student.

Together with family, friends and the wider community, I joined in paying my final respects as she was laid to rest. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family during this difficult time. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Good progress has been made on the ongoing construction of the Eronge ECDE classrooms, with the project now entering the painting phase.

Once completed, the facility will provide a conducive learning environment for our young learners and help improve access to quality early childhood education.

Later, I condoled with the family of the late Mr. Stephen Kebande Mokaya of Nyaigesa Village, Mongoni sub location. The late was a very jovial man and as a community we have lost a great man. May the soul of Stephen rest in eternal peace.

I attended the funeral of Mama Pamela Oseko in Riomanga Village, a woman who was dearly cherished by almost everyone who grew up in Keroka.

Despite facing mental health challenges, Pamela had a heart full of kindness and resilience. She was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly to raise her two children, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength that touched many lives.May Mama Pamela Rest in peace.
