Road to Karen #5 🏌️♂️⛳

The local 🇰🇪️ golf professionals have started the last Road to Karen Series at the venue of the KCB Karen Masters playing 72 holes, starting Sunday 8 July.
With Karen Country Club preserving the back tees for the inaugural Sunshine Tour event on Kenyan soil from 19-22 July 2018, the Kenyans are getting used to the greens. And overnight leader, Mumias’ Dismas Indiza proved that length is everything - carding a 6-under 66 to lead by two shots from Muthaiga’s Nelson Mudanyi on 68 (4-under par). Three players were a further shot back on 69 – Joseph Karanja, C J Wangai and David Wakhu.

2017 TUSKER MALT UGANDA OPEN: Zimbabwe-born Stephen Ferreira wins the 2017 Uganda Open on 7-under par and by three shots from Kenya's Dismas Indiza in an exciting contest at Uganda Golf Club today. The Sunshine tour player, making his debut in Uganda will remember his first African country golf championship fondly and his first winner's cheque. This is the fourth Open event for him this year. In March, Ferreira was in Nairobi for the Kenya Open and played the Zambia Sugar Open as well as the Zimbabwe Open in April.
