KUKKI TAEKWONDO DAN CERTIFICATE HANDOVER & TECHNICAL TRAINING SESSION HELD IN NAIROBI

Dan Certificate Handover Ceremony held at The Mark Vintage Hotel along Thika Road, Nairobi, under the leadership of International Kukkiwon Certified Master Kimemia Ken on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

The session also included a one hour technical training where Taekwondoin were taken through the refreshing and polishing of fundamental Kukki Taekwondo basic techniques, further strengthening standards, knowledge, and technical excellence among practitioners.

SeniorCoach Chris, Heroez Taekwondo Head Coach (in black suit), was also present during the session.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽:

• 𝟭𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱
• 𝟱 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 will also be required to assist in:

• Tying hogus
• Managing the waiting bay
• Ensuring the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd standby competitors are ready before matches

𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• Referees – Kes 3,000 for the day
• Volunteers – Kes 1,500 for the day

This championship will 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗦 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, where referees will use the inbuilt PSS scoring system to score matches digitally using manual hogus.

6. Click Participate
7. Select Participate as an Official
8. Apply as a Referee or Volunteer

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲:

If you are NOT registered in the system, you will 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘, as referees will require a system start key to operate and score matches within the draws/brackets.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 to keep checking their approval status from 11th May to 24th May 2026 for approval notifications and officiating updates within the system.

As we prepare for the upcoming 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟯𝟬 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at Oshwal Academy Nairobi Primary, we are now introducing all Kukki Taekwondoin both coaches and competitors to a powerful digital tournament management system, 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗦.

This is not just a system. This is a shift.

𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗦:

1. Every competitor will have their own account as a Kukki Taekwondo practitioner.

2. Competitors will register and enter events directly through the system.

3. Payments will be made via 𝗦𝗧𝗞 𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵 and will 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 reflect in the system.

4. Competitors will be placed into their 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 and 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.

5. The system will track rankings and competition records.

6. It will also serve as a grading portal, keeping each practitioner’s Taekwondo history and belt rank.

7. It allows verification of ranks (𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝘂𝗸𝗸𝗶𝘄𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀) digitally.

A coach shall complete registration and access their control panel dashboard where they will add their Dojang, club, or school under the '𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦' 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻.

Under each team, the coach will find the details that their students, Taekwondoin, will use to create their own competition accounts and link themselves to their instructor’s Dojang, school, or club just like in the World Taekwondo Simply Compete system.

Each team created under the Teams Icon will have its own unique identifier that looks like;

𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗘: RNO2600.....

This will then be combined with the coach’s standard identifier;

This is how competitors will be correctly linked to their Dojang or institution, allowing proper draws to be generated by the system in any organized championship.

Competitions in Kenya are about to become more organized, more professional, and more credible. This is how we restore dignity and integrity in our championships across the country.

No late payments. No late entries. No delays in match start times due to last minute manual draws on the event day.

𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀

What a powerful way to close the year 2025.

On 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗰 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, Heroez Taekwondo successfully conducted its End of Year 𝗬𝘂𝗴𝗲𝘂𝗽𝗷𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗮 (Colour Belt Test). A total of 24 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻 were examined and proudly promoted to their respective next ranks after demonstrating discipline, skill, confidence, and true Taekwondo spirit.

Beyond the belt promotions, the day was made even more special as we celebrated excellence, consistency, and growth.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗿 𝗜𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘂’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 and 𝗠𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, were awarded the title of 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆. Their 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 were honoured with 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘀 for their dedication, commitment, and unwavering support throughout the year.

We also proudly 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗶, who received the 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 award. Her growth, resilience, and determination throughout the year truly inspired both fellow students and instructors.

This test was not just about ranks, but about character, effort, family support, and the journey of becoming better every day.

Congratulations to all our Taekwondoin, parents, and families for making 2025 a remarkable year. We move forward stronger, disciplined, and more motivated than ever.
