Sports is a big business with high earnings for professional sports people and companies involved. This is the reason why sports was a key highlight at this year's celebrations.

With introduction of initiative and the U-19 Bottom Up Football tournament as mentioned by His Excellency William Samoei Ruto which will comprise of teams from all the 47 counties, this will definately help identify talents at the grassroot level and open opportunities for these talents!

The Ministry of Youth Affairs, sports and the Arts Cabinet Secretary Hon. Ababu Namwamba is very dedicated to ensure sports persons adhere to clean sports.

He has been engaging various stakeholders to ensure this is done. This has born fruits as the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has cleared Kenya from potential Doping Ban!

One key pillar that Wazee Premier League advocates for is equal opportunities for all by creating these opportunities especially for those marginalized.

Recently and in partnership with Wazito Legends FC, a key WPL member, we carried out a very impactiful Corporate Social Responsibility activity at the BOSCO BOYS KENYA where we donated food stuff, clothing, shoes, soccer balls and sets of soccer bibs. We also had alot of fun where we interacted with the boys at the facility!

BOSCO BOYS KENYA is a centre that transforms and integrates street and marginalized children to the society by providing a home experience to them.

The boy child is under siege and it's a good thing BOSCO BOYS KENYA is at the centre of repositioning the boy to take his rightful place in society!

The match between Ghana and South Korea remains one of the most action packed matches in this 2022 FIFA World Cup

Both teams have given there best.

This coming weekend, 3rd and 4th Decemeber 2022 at the M-PESA Foundation Academy. the Wazee Premier League teams will also be giving their best in the season finale of the WPL.
