Today our longterm right back, Nashon Aristopulo announced that he is hanging his boots.

He joined our team, BlackStars Deaf FC in 2011 and he played as a right back and sometimes a central defender when Zablon Koscielny Kengara was away for more than a year due to surgery on his left knee.

BlackStars appreciates his immense contribution to our team and for this we’re forever grateful.

We will really miss him on the pitch. We wish you well in the next phase of your life.

Deaf Metropolitan Regional League Standings

The unbeaten BlackStars Deaf FC remain at the top of the League with two remaining matches against Eastleight Deaf FC and Scotland Deaf FC

We play second placed Eastleight Deaf FC whom we trail by just one point in 2 weeks time. If we beat them then we’ll be crowned Deaf Metropolitan Regional League Champions. But if we share the spoils then that means we have to win out last match to clinch the title.

Fight till the end!
