Situational awareness isn’t about teaching our children to be afraid. It’s about teaching them to notice, think and respond.

The numbers are a reminder that child safety cannot be left to chance. Government data shows that between January 2025 and March 2026, Kenya recorded 1,952 reported child abduction cases and 1,636 cases involving missing/lost-and-found children. Nairobi recorded the highest number of reported child-protection cases.

Our children need practical skills: knowing what feels unsafe, noticing what’s happening around them, trusting their instincts, and knowing what to do when something doesn’t feel right.

On 5th September 2026, we’ll be teaching children exactly that. ❤️

Parents, bring your child and help them build safety skills they can carry with them wherever they go.

Because awareness can be a powerful first line of protection.

“What should I do when something doesn’t feel right?”

Teach your child that they can pause, pay attention to their body, and ask for help—even when they can't explain exactly what's wrong.

Their feelings are worth listening to. ❤️

Teach your child to STOP before they make a decision. 🛑

Stop.
Think.
Observe.
Proceed safely.

Simple safety strategies can help children know what to do when they feel unsure or pressured.

Because we don't just want children to know what is unsafe—we want them to know what to do next. ❤️

Comment “STOP” if you'll be teaching your child this strategy.

Your child's “NO” matters. ❤️

Children can be respectful and still have boundaries.

Teach them that they can say no, change their mind, and move away when someone doesn't respect their boundaries.

Remember: NO. MOVE. TELL.
Say no. Move somewhere safe. Tell a trusted adult.

Save this post and share it with a parent. Every child should know this.

Not every secret should be kept. 🚨

A birthday surprise can be exciting. But a secret that makes a child feel scared, worried, uncomfortable, or threatened is different.

Teach your child that phrases like “Don't tell your parent” or “You'll get in trouble if you tell” are warning signs.

No unsafe secret should ever be more important than their safety.

💛 Save this and share it with another parent.

🚦 Teach your child the traffic-light approach to safety!

🟢 Green — Things look safe.
🟡 Yellow — Slow down and think.
🔴 Red — Stop, move away, and get help.

Giving children simple tools they can remember helps them respond more confidently when situations change.

Save this and practise it with your child. ❤️

Cyberbullying doesn't end when the screen turns off. The words, comments, and messages children receive online can affect their confidence, friendships, and mental well-being. 💙

Let's teach our children to be kind online, speak up when something feels wrong, and know they can always ask for help.

Taking away the phone might stop the problem today—but it won't teach your child what to do tomorrow. 💙 Let's raise children who know how to think, choose, and stay safe online. Register your child through the link in our bio.
