Welcome home, Sunday Oliseah- have Sunday Majimbo and Brainah Andanje -Brian Andanje! 🇰🇪

The two players arrived safely at JKIA from Indonesia, where they were received by KEFWA’s Victor Ashinga Ashinga following KEFWA’s intervention to facilitate their return.

Their experience reinforces the need for players to verify agents and overseas football opportunities before travelling. KEFWA remains committed to protecting players and supporting those facing exploitation.

As KEFWA continues to raise awareness about fraudulent football opportunities, we share the experience of Augustine Kuta, who says he fell victim to an arrangement involving Peter Makacha.

Listen as Augustine explains how he was approached, convinced to travel, and later found himself facing serious challenges in Bali, Indonesia, after the promised football opportunity failed to materialise.

His story is a warning to all players: verify every agent, contract and overseas opportunity before travelling. Consult Kenya Footballers Welfare Association and or Football Kenya Federation before making any commitment.

Anyone facing a similar situation should contact KEFWA for support.

Protecting players. Defending their rights. Fighting exploitation.

KEFWA has successfully facilitated the return of our members, Sunday Majimbo and Brian Kabaka, from Indonesia, where they had been stranded after being lured by false promises of football opportunities abroad.

The two players were taken to Indonesia through what turned out to be a fake agency arrangement. When they approached KEFWA for help, they were also threatened by the same fake agent.

We strongly warn players against falling for fake deals and unverified agents promising opportunities abroad. In this case, the individual identified by the players is Peter Makacha, and we urge all players to be extremely cautious and avoid engaging in such suspicious arrangements.

The image of the alleged fake agent is attached below.

KEFWA is ready and will take action regarding the fake agency involved, which has negatively affected our members.

We also call upon any player in a similar situation or facing exploitation, intimidation, or suspicious transfer arrangements to reach out to KEFWA immediately for support and guidance.

We shall also be releasing:

1. Videos of the players’ return,
2.The welcome-back moment, and
3. a testimonial video from the victim,

so that fellow players can learn and remain vigilant.

Our message remains clear:
Before signing, travelling, or committing to any football opportunity abroad, consult KEFWA or Football Kenya Federation so that you are protected from fake agency.

Protecting players. Defending rights. Fighting exploitation.
