Death where is thy sting? O death where is thy victory?
You have robbed us of a kind soul.
Jonathan Otieno a.k.a Jonah/Savimbi/Octo a former Camp Toyoyo staffer and Jericho All Stars ardent fan as you all know, transitioned to the after life on 19th August 2020.
Many people are yet to come to terms with his passing on.
Jonah fell sick last Friday 14th August and was taken to Jamaa Hospital for review and went back home. He later complained of pain in the lower abdomen and was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where he was referred to Kenyatta National Hospital. On the 19th of August 2020, the pain got worse and was rushed again to Metropolitan Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Friends and family are meeting at his place in Lumumba(Trench), block number AA13, house number 5351.
There will be a fundraiser on Sunday 23rd August 2020 from 2pm at the same place.

We join the Official Super 8 Soccer Tournament in mourning the passing on of Bonnie Kagwe.
Rest well Bonnie. Till we meet again.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Bonface Kagwe one of the staff members of Extreme Sports through a road accident.
Losing someone we love is nothing easy, we've lost a great friend, a brother and a leader, words cannot express our sorrow, the office won’t be the same without him, his kind face will forever remain in our image.
To the family and friends of Bonface Kagwe, our thoughts, prayers and well-wishes are with you during this dark time, may God give you peace, strength and comfort during this difficult time.

A match against any Shauri Moyo based side is a derby irrespective of current form. It was no different when Shauri Moyo Sportiff came calling.
Matchdays have become a do or die affair. Amazingly, our team has remained highly motivated despite what we consider negative and biased treatment on and off the pitch.
We totally outplayed the visitors but against the run of play, the visitors were awarded a dubious freekick in the 24th minute. The resultant freekick found the back of the net. The silence was deafening. Our opponents resorted to time wasting. The 1st half ended 0-1 in Shauri Moyo's favour.
The halftime pep talk by the coaching staff and the players was lit. No heads were dropped and there was belief that we had 3goals in our armoury.
The second half saw last week's hero, Warren, come in place of 'Mane'. He did not disappoint. Within 7 minutes of his introduction, he was fed by the evergreen Amimo and he shot the ball past the hapless Shauri goalkeeper.
A few minutes later the fans would be treated to another Amimo assist to Onyi who, as usual, thumped the ball into the net to a thunderous applause by the home fans.
We went for the jugular but were unlucky not to secure a third goal. Match ended 2-1 in our favour.
We travel away to Huruma Kona on Saturday for an 11.00am kick off at Huruma Grounds.
To support the team for our away match, kindly MPESA via our paybill 165178.
God bless us, God bless Jericho All Stars.

A dull cloudy morning was suddenly brightened just before kick off at 4pm. An important match against an opponent with whom mutual respect exists.
NYSA have always proven to be worthy opponents. They beat us 2-1 in the first leg and a win in their favour would make them the first team to do a double over us; a record we did not want. The team welcomed a few players back from injury and the team was all set for a good match.
The match kicked off on a high and it wasn't long before new boy Amimo found the net.
We went for the break 1-0 up.
There was a delay in the second half as the heavens opened to a heavy shower.
NYSA came back all guns blazing and they got their equalizer courtesy of a fast counter.1-1 and the tension was there for all to see.
Our boys did not drop their heads and in came Warren who took the captain's armband from Tony Njeru 'mdogo'.
It didn't take long for him to score a poacher's goal and we knew it was game over at 2-1..we managed to get a 3rd courtesy of Amimo who got his brace. A promising signing he is.
Our joy was shortlived as NYSA came back and scored a 2nd goal to take the match down to the wire.
The final whistle brought a sigh of relief. Match ended 3-2 in our favour.
Who was your man of the match?
See you tomorrow, Sunday at 1500hrs as we take on Shauri Moyo Sportiff at Camp Toyoyo. Bring your family and be part of the JAS family.
God bless us, God bless Jericho All Stars.

Memories are made of this. We last met NYSA when we were sitting top of the table with a 7 point lead. With the 2-1 loss that day, our lead was cut to 4points. Currently we sit 4th on the table, 3points adrift the leaders.
Tomorrow we meet at Camp Toyoyo at 1600HRS.
With only 6matches to play, the team needs your support to get to the finish line.
See you all there.
God bless us, God bless Jericho All Stars.

Any match at this point is a final and it was no different when Rongai All Stars came calling.
The eager fans filled the stadium with excitement. Our boys marched to the pitch with the confidence of champions.
Strange things happen in football and the visitors went ahead before we could settle in the match 0-1 in favour of the visitors
Our new look side had to come back fighting and parity was restored courtesy of a stunner from Engo. Not long after,he stunned the crowds with a second. Halftime 2-1 in our favour.
Despite having the lead,we struggled to find our usual rhythm and held on to a narrow 2-1 win.
We salute our fans for standing with the team during this period of transition.
The recent transfer window saw us lose 8 key players and the entire coachimg staff but the team has shown character with a burning desire to win.
Onto the next one....the DERBY against Makadara JLSA at HAMZA Grounds on SATURDAY, 21st September 2019 at 3pm.
See you all there.
God bless us, God bless Jericho All Stars.
