As we wrap up the Peer-to-Peer Landscape Learning Exchange under the TerraFund for AFR100 3rd Cohort at Maiyan Resort Nanyuki, we leave inspired, challenged, and even more committed to restoring landscapes that sustain both people and nature. 🌱
Over the past few days, we have shared experiences, lessons, innovations, and practical restoration approaches with fellow restoration champions across the Greater Rift Valley. The conversations, collaborations, and knowledge exchange reaffirmed that lasting restoration is built through partnerships, local leadership, and community action.
We are grateful to all peers, facilitators, and partners including World Resources Institute, One Tree Planted and Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation for creating such a powerful learning space that continues to strengthen restoration efforts across the continent.
Together, we continue restoring degraded landscapes, strengthening livelihoods, and building resilient communities for future generations. 💚

🌍 Celebrating Earth Day: Our Power, Our Planet 🌱
Today, FarmLife Health Services Ltd proudly joined the world in celebrating , reaffirming our commitment to restoring our planet and empowering communities.
At the heart of this year’s celebration, FarmLife spearheaded a successful tree planting activity at the Marindas Water Catchment Area, located within the vital Mau Escarpment. This initiative was made possible through strong collaboration with the local community and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, under the MFC ICLIP .
🌳 Through this activity, we are:
Restoring degraded landscapes
Protecting critical water catchment areas
Enhancing biodiversity
Creating green jobs and community livelihoods
This is more than tree planting — it’s about securing a sustainable future for generations to come. Together, we have the power to heal our planet.

FarmLife Health Services Ltd is delighted to announce our successful selection to be part of ’s third cohort of 53 locally rooted restoration champions.
Our project will be implemented within the Mau East Forest landscape in Nakuru County and aims to restore 950 hectares of degraded landscape while transforming community livelihoods.
Through this initiative, we will plant 200,000 mixed tree seedlings—primarily avocadoes under contract farming—create 260 green jobs, and directly benefit more than 1,600 smallholder farmers across the region.
We will work in close collaboration with TerraFund’s partners WRI Africa, Realize Impact, Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation, and One Tree Planted.
We are proud to be part of this cohort that represents one of the most impactful and targeted investments in the movement—demonstrating that locally led restoration is key to reviving ecosystems, improving livelihoods, and strengthening climate resilience.
