Jesus Will Never Leave You Behind

There may be moments when you feel forgotten, rejected, or alone. You may look at your life and wonder, “Where is God in all of this?” But remember: Jesus has not abandoned you. Even when you cannot see His hand, He is still working. Even when the road is difficult, He is walking beside you.

Jesus promised, “I am with you always, until the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20

You may stumble, but Jesus will help you rise. You may become tired, but He will strengthen you. You may lose your way, but He will come looking for you. Your circumstances may change, people may walk away, and doors may close, but the love of Jesus remains faithful.

So do not give up today. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep moving forward. Your story is not finished. The same Jesus who carried you through yesterday is already preparing the grace you need for tomorrow.

Jesus will never leave you behind. He will never abandon you. Hold on to Him, because He is holding on to you.

Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Green Hydrogen Innovations Centre (GHIC) ✨

The Archdiocese of Nyeri marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony of the Green Hydrogen Innovations Centre (GHIC), with our Archbishop Anthony Muheria serving as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony brought together government representatives, development partners, academia, and other stakeholders who expressed their support for the transformative project.

Mr. Henry Kinyua, National Programme Coordinator, Advancing Climate Resilience and Transformation in Africa Coffee (ACT) Programme, UNIDO Kenya, noted that Hill Farm has the scale, industrial discipline, and convening capacity required to undertake such an ambitious initiative.

Representing the Governor of Nyeri County, Ms. Yvonne Mathenge congratulated the Archdiocese for initiating a project that will have a positive impact on the people and the wider community.

Mr. Ali Mohamed, Special Envoy for Climate Change in the Executive Office of the President, highlighted the environmental damage caused by human activities and called for urgent action to address climate change. He commended the Archdiocese for taking concrete steps towards a more sustainable future.

H.E. Konrad Lax, Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kenya, said the project demonstrates Kenya's commitment to opening new pathways for food security and green innovation. He emphasized the indispensable role of green hydrogen and noted that while innovation comes with challenges, sustained collaboration can overcome them.

He described Nyeri Hill Farm as a pillar of the community, emphasizing that the project is not only about technology but, fundamentally, about people.

Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri, EBS, Vice Chancellor of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, welcomed the University's partnership with the Archdiocese, noting that the project will provide valuable opportunities for learning, research, and skills development among students.

Hon. Alex Wachira, Principal Secretary, State Department for Energy, described the initiative as an important milestone in moving Kenya's Green Hydrogen agenda from policy to action. He highlighted opportunities for skills development, knowledge transfer, and energy security.

In his remarks, Archbishop Anthony Muheria described the groundbreaking as a significant milestone and a testimony to the solidarity and collaboration of different partners.

The Archbishop expressed appreciation for the vision of Pope Francis, particularly through Laudato Si', which calls upon humanity to take greater responsibility for the environment. He thanked all the partners for believing in the Archdiocese and supporting the project.

> “We start a long journey that is worth undertaking for the sake of Mother Earth and for the sake of God.”

The GHIC initiative represents the Archdiocese of Nyeri's commitment to environmental stewardship, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, innovation, and community development, marking a new chapter in the Church's contribution to Kenya's green transition.

God bless
