✅ More competition for places – The squad is packed with quality, meaning nobody can afford to become comfortable.

✅ Injury boosts – Several important players are returning to full fitness and could feel like new signings.

✅ Hungry young players – This squad has a point to prove after a difficult period, and sometimes that hunger can be very powerful.

Will everything be perfect immediately? Probably not.

There will still be challenges and moments of frustration.

But for the first time in a while, it feels like Chelsea have a clear direction, exciting young talent and a manager capable of bringing the best out of this group.

That's why I'm optimistic.
