FROM A YOUNG TALENT TO THE CAPTAIN OF UGANDA U17 🇺🇬⚽

I still remember when I joined Amus College School as the Head Coach. One day, I spotted a young boy, Muhoozi, casually kicking a ball with his friends away from the training field.

I called him over and asked, “Young man, what is your name?”

He replied, “My name is Muhoozi.”

I then asked him, “Which position do you play?”

He told me he was an attacking midfielder.

I said, “Okay, from today, you will start training with the senior team.”

He looked worried and told me, “Coach, I am afraid I might be chased away because I am still young. I don’t think I can fit into the squad.”

I looked at him and said, “I am the Head Coach. Don’t be afraid. Trust yourself, and I will give you the opportunity.”

Today, seeing Muhoozi achieve great things and wear the captain’s armband for the Uganda U17 national team fills my heart with pride.

Sometimes, all a young player needs is someone who believes in them and gives them an opportunity to shine.

I believed in his talent then, and today, I am proud to see how far he has come. His journey is a reminder that talent needs opportunity, guidance, and belief. 👏⚽🇺🇬

⚽🔥 WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GAME YESTERDAY! 🔥⚽

What a fantastic performance against County League side Abimbo FC! We are happy with the progress of our boys. They played well, and we could see some excellent combination play from both wings. The understanding, teamwork, and movement were impressive.

Something good is cooking at Real Talent Academy FC! 💛🖤

This was a valuable test for us because, next season, we expect to compete in the same league as Abimbo FC. Playing against an experienced side that finished 6th in the County League gave us a clear picture of where we are and what we need to improve.

For us, this was more than just a friendly match. It was a learning experience, a confidence booster, and a positive step forward.

We respect Abimbo FC for their experience, but we believe in our journey and the potential of our young boys.

The future is bright. The work continues! 💪⚽
