Diving the Crab, Diani Beach Kenya
PADI 5 star IDC resort Diving The Crab was established in 1985 when the first school was opened at Jadini Beach Hotel. Diving is our religion!
Since then we have concentrated all our efforts in providing a professional and dedicated service to our clients. As a result our reputation is known worldwide. We are extremely privileged to be operating on Kenya's south coast, where the Idyllic Indian Ocean provides warm hospitable waters, teeming with marine life. Often on our way to dive sites the boat will slow down to play with a school of friendly dolphins or the gentlest of giants, the whale shark.

Pro tip from our instructors... π
If your fins are higher than your head (or vice versa), it's time to adjust your trim. Finding that balanced, horizontal position will help you conserve air, improve control and keep you comfortably clear of the reef.
Your dive buddy - and the coral - will thank you. π€Ώ - πͺΈ - ππ»

Meet the crew who get every adventure off to the perfect start. π€
Before every dive, our boat team is busy preparing equipment, checking conditions and making sure everything is ready for a safe and memorable day on the water.
With years of local knowledge, they'll guide you to the very best of Diani's reefs - because no one knows these waters quite like they do.

Dive tip π‘π€Ώ
A little water in your mask? Don't panic. Mask clearing is one of the simplest skills you'll learn as a diver - and one that quickly becomes second nature with practice. π
The more comfortable you are with the basics, the more you'll enjoy everything happening around you underwater. π

Reef hide-and-seek champion of the month ππ
This tiny juvenile boxfish was spotted blending into the coral at one of our sheltered reef sites. Small, shy, and ridiculously photogenic.
At Diving The Crab, we believe protecting Kenya's reefs is a shared responsibility. Every responsible diver, every careful fin kick, every choice not to touch marine life, and every effort to leave only bubbles behind helps preserve these incredible ecosystems for future generations. π π
Together, we're not just exploring the ocean - we're helping protect it.
