Many people think braces are purely cosmetic, but the benefits go much deeper than aesthetics.

Aligning your teeth is a vital step toward long-term oral health. A corrected bite can:

• Improve Digestion: Better chewing is the first step to healthy digestion.
• Enhance Speech: Proper tooth alignment helps with clearer articulation.
• Relieve Pain: Reduces strain on jaw joints and muscles (TMJ).
• Prevent Decay: Straight teeth are significantly easier to brush and floss.

Consult an orthodontist to see how braces can improve your quality of life.

To every mother showing up every single day — this one's for you. 🌸

The late nights. The early mornings. The silent sacrifices no one sees but everyone benefits from. You hold the fort in ways we never thought possible, and you make it look effortless.

Today, we pause to celebrate you — not just for what you do, but for who you are.

Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible mothers out there. You are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply appreciated. 💛

Every sip of soda feeds two problems:

❌ Sugar → fuels bacteria → causes cavities
❌ Acid → directly wears down enamel

Even “sugar-free” sodas aren’t safe — the acid still weakens your teeth.

🥤 What really happens:

Enamel softens within minutes
Repeated sipping = constant acid attack
Over time → sensitivity, discoloration, cavities

⚠️ That “harmless” daily soda?
It could be the reason your teeth start chipping, staining, or hurting.

✨ What a night to remember! The DESAMU Gala Night was a beautiful celebration of community, excellence, and the future of dentistry — and KDA- both at national and branch level, was proud to be part of it. 🦷

Events like these remind us why we do what we do. When dental professionals come together, we don't just network — we strengthen the foundation of oral health care in Kenya. From seeing budding dentists to the presence of seasoned practitioners, the passion in that room was undeniable.

Here's to building a stronger, more connected dental community — one milestone at a time. 🇰🇪🥂
