Cambodians in Canada Call for Thailand to Stop Attacking Cambodia

Despite the heavy snow, around 150 Cambodian people living in Canada gather and urges Thailand to cease military action on Cambodia's sovereignty.

Organized at the Parliament Hill of Ottawa capital city on December 13, they also call on the international communities to intervene as local Cambodian people continue suffering along the border with Thailand.

A renewed ceasefire was expected to take effect from December 13 at 10 pm local time. However, the Thai military has continued to carry out aggression after the set time. The new round of the border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand has escalated since December 7.
