VANN PHEARA - PHÁ KỶ LỤC QUỐC GIA KHI THAM DỰ VM ALL STAR 2026

Về đích với thành tích 2:22:46 ở cự ly 42km nam, Vann Pheara lập kỷ lục marathon Campuchia.

Liên đoàn điền kinh nghiệp dư Khmer (KAAF) công nhận thành tích của Pheara là kỷ lục marathon quốc gia. Với thông số này, anh phá kỷ lục Campuchia tồn tại hơn một thập kỷ do Hem Bunting thiết lập (2:23:29) tại Paris Marathon 2012.

Cột mốc ở VnExpress Marathon (VM) All-Star lần này không chỉ tạo nên làn sóng tự hào trong cộng đồng chạy Campuchia, mà còn mang lại sự hậu thuẫn thiết thực khi nhiều người hâm mộ trong cộng đồng chạy bộ xứ chùa tháp chung tay quyên góp kinh phí để Pheara tiếp tục tập luyện chuyên nghiệp, tham dự nhiều giải đấu lớn trong tương lai.

"Quá trình tập luyện nghiêm túc và kỷ luật giúp Pheara tạo cột mốc mới cho điền kinh nước nhà. Đây là khoảnh khắc đáng nhớ và cũng là một chuẩn mực mới cho các VĐV Campuchia", đại diện KAAF chia sẻ.

Trên Facebook cá nhân, nam runner cũng bày tỏ niềm tự hào sau cột mốc lịch sử. "Giấc mơ phá kỷ lục quốc gia đã trở thành hiện thực. Tôi hy vọng sẽ nhận được nhiều sự ủng hộ hơn nữa trong tương lai", Pheara viết, đồng thời cảm ơn những người đồng hành giúp anh có cơ hội dự sân chơi lớn như VM All-Star và gặp gỡ nhiều runner ưu tú của Việt Nam.

Việc một VĐV quốc tế có thể lập kỷ lục quốc gia ngay tại Việt Nam cho thấy sức cạnh tranh và điều kiện thi đấu tại các giải chạy lớn trong nước đang tiệm cận chuẩn mực chuyên nghiệp, đủ để VĐV khai thác tối đa năng lực và thiết lập thành tích.

VnExpress Marathon All-Star diễn ra ngày 8/2 là giải đấu tuyển chọn, quy tụ khoảng 1.500 VĐV, trong đó có nhiều chân chạy quốc tế. Đáng chú ý ở nội dung marathon nam, Wendwesen Tilahun Damte (Ethiopia), người từng được xem là "bài toán" lớn với các elite Việt, phải dừng cuộc đua từ khoảng km10 vì chấn thương gân kheo.

Trái lại, Vann Pheara, chân chạy Campuchia lại trở thành gương mặt đáng chú ý ở top đầu khi giữ nhịp ổn định xuyên suốt chặng đua, trước khi về đích thứ tư (2:22:46), sau Hoàng Nguyên Thanh (2:19:45), Huỳnh Anh Khôi (2:20:02) và Nguyễn Văn Lai (2:22:31).

Today, we kicked off the SheRuns_ITC club with an orientation session, where we introduced ourselves and shared our motivation to start running. The students showed great enthusiasm and commitment to improving their health and fitness. They are excited to embark on this transformative journey together with their classmates!

A year of spreading running spirit in Cambodia 🇰🇭

Good news! We are thrilled to launch SheRuns_ITC, engaging university students, lecturers, faculty members, and alumni in running. Run, have fun, get fit, and stay healthy in an inclusive environment!

The classes will begin on February 10, 2026 with the ITC Club.

Looks like a great program to follow!

We recognize the value of yoga for runners and the joy of running with friends. Our training program includes yoga sessions and long runs with our friends from Phnom Penh Athletics Club. This week, one quality session will focus on marathon pace, running with her, as part of the SheRuns campaign.

We’ll gently guide experienced runners on a journey toward achieving a sub-2-hour Half Marathon, while beginners will reach new levels of fitness through training with us. All sessions are free, though we gratefully welcome any donations to support our work.

We look forward to helping you become a happy and healthy runner!

At our club, we believe that running is more than a sport- it’s a path toward self-discovery, community, and well-being. We welcome all individuals, regardless of age, gender, or physical ability, who are passionate about moving forward—together.

🧡 Inclusivity & Empowerment
1. We are especially dedicated to uplifting girls and women to take the lead in running, while encouraging men to join as allies in promoting equality in sports.
2. Participants are free to train with our club regardless of affiliations- we believe that access to group training should be open and inclusive to reinforce community spirit.

👟 Weekly Sessions & Personalized Support
1. We offer free weekly group training sessions. Those seeking tailored programs are welcome to reach out to our club coaches for personalized advice and support.

🧒👵 Health & Safety Guidelines
1. Children under 16 must be running under parental approval.
2. Participants aged 65 and above are advised to obtain medical clearance before joining.
3. Those with chronic medical conditions should consult their healthcare provider in advance.
4. Individuals with physical disabilities are encouraged to consult caregivers before participating and to run under appropriate supervision.

👕 Funding, Contributions & Club Gear
1. As a self-funded club, we do not provide free items such as t-shirts. However, club shirts may be available for purchase or offered as tokens of appreciation to our regular participants.
2. While membership is free, we graciously welcome voluntary contributions. All donations will be used solely to support club activities.
3. To ensure privacy, participants are encouraged to give anonymously when possible—for example, by having a trusted friend or family member contribute on their behalf.
