Currently the skateshop has a team of 3 sponsored local riders, who are the driving force of the skate scene in Cambodia. the skateshop also advocates for the building of a public skate park in Phnom Penh and, beginning September, will offer skate lessons to existing skaters and those new to the sport. the skateshop was founded as a social enterprise and is committed to putting back into the community skate scene and youth in the form of sponsoring local skaters, contributing to a public park and providing creative opportunities. more about skateboarding:

Skateboarding is both an individual and community sport. Meaning skaters simply need a board, ground and themselves to participate, or a group who eagerly support each others learning and development within the sport. Skateboarding is a personally challenging sport, which for Cambodian youth, is seldom encouraged or facilitated. With few youth recreations available in Cambodia the skateshop was born as a way to make skateboarding accessible and affordable to the youth (and all ages) of Cambodia. It encourages independence, self expression, goal setting and determination.
