These are some photos 📸 of my last evening in Siem Reap. I managed to catch up with some people who have been a part of my journey here. Would have loved to meet many more but unfortunately was unable to do so.

Once again, thank you all for the memories crafted in the Khmer Kingdom 🇰🇭

Till we meet again! 💪

It has been a privilege to serve as Head Coach for Angkor Tiger FC
From Day 1 the people of Cambodia have welcomed me warmly and supported the changes I implemented at the club.

By working tirelessly, the team & I have overcome many limitations, with some unforgettable victories and memories. I hope that the fans remember these moments, and continue to support the team as the club evolves.

To all of the players, staff, and fans; thank you for your support, providing additional strength to the team on-and-off the field.
I am confident in the future of Cambodian football.
I am proud to have been able to partly contribute to this exciting footballing revolution.

It has been a wonderful journey in a new part of the world for me and it is time for me to return to my home country of the United Kingdom. I am excited to seek out a new challenge and will do so with Cambodia in my heart.

ជួបគ្នាឆាប់ៗនេះ,

Some of my thoughts during my interview with regarding our 2-0 win against Kirivong. Glad to get our first 3️⃣ points of the season but we need to improve on many fronts.

We face another stern test against Tiffy Army this weekend and we will give it our all 🐅

It was critical for us to pick up 3 points yesterday and I am pleased that we achieved our first win of the season 👏

We actually performed better in our first two fixtures where we lost, which goes to show how crazy the beautiful game is ⚽️

However, we are far from the finished product. I can’t stress how important it is we improve on our weak points. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done 💪

But, it feels good to clock our first win and to do it with a clean sheet was just the icing on the cake 🧤

Let’s and become even better, together 🐅

Tomorrow is a big day for our club.

Both I and the players need your support, to pack the stadium out and be our 12th man with your thundering cheers.

Our last two performances, although losses in both games, have been so positive. We are one win away from really kicking on in this league.

Please come to the game, enjoy the day and be a part of what I hope will be a winning performance 💪🙏

It was a tough loss to take from our last game. However, we reflect, build off the positives, work on the negatives, and go again this weekend ⚽️

A huge thank you to all the fans who made their way down to Phnom Penh to support us. We will do our very best against Boeung Ket 💪

Let’s together as one! 🐅

Amazing initiative by the CPL for the upcoming season for official press conferences!

We have utmost respect for and we will give it our all! 💪🐅

I’m quite sad to see two of our most experienced players retire from the beautiful game. Thorn Seyha and Tang Pisey have been exemplary figure and long-term servants of the club, way before I started my tenure as Angkor Tiger head coach 🐅

They have certainly left their mark on the club and the younger players have certainly benefited from their experience and guidance. Thank you to both players for your years of service to Siem Reap’s finest 🇰🇭

They will certainly be missed and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors 💪s

We completed our last pre-season match this past weekend and I’m happy to see the players’ dedication and effort given during this preparatory period 💪

Nevertheless, the real test begins this Sunday against ISI. Every CPL team has strengthened following the end of the League Cup and the lessons and experiences that we gained during pre-season will come into play as there are no easy games.

One thing is for sure though, we are raring to go and gunning for a strong start to the season ⚽️

We’ve been working hard and delivering good performances during our recent friendlies. I am proud of the grit and determination that everyone has shown 🫡

Our pre-season chapter is drawing to a close with our first league game right around the corner ⚽️

Make no mistake, we are only going to push ourselves harder as we prepare for the season ahead 💪

Chemistry is an important aspect of any football side. Having good communication and understanding between players and staff, amongst players, and amongst staff is critical for us to reach our goals.

Links are certainly not forged overnight and while it takes time, it is important to implement strategies to expedite the process. This season, with an influx of new players and staff, it was important to plan and prepare ahead so that we are united in achieving our targets.

Above all, team bonding activities have played a crucial role this season to breakthrough socio-cultural and language barriers.

To have success on the pitch, it is critical to create the necessary conditions off it.
