One week ago... on 6 August, Jorrit Gielissen, one of our boardmembers completed the Iron Man Maastricht, 3.8 swimming, 180 biking and 42 running as a fundraising for the Pure Dream Centre! We are so proud to have your 'drive' and inspiration in our team... so much thanks, kids and team PDC!

GoGoGo Jorrit! 31 juli 2016... toekijkend vanaf de kant naar de start van de Iron Man in Maastricht wist ik t zeker: deze ultieme duursport uitdaging wilde ik ook aangaan. In oktober 2016 gestart met de voorbereiding. Vandaag, na 10 maanden trainen met talloze uren op de Tacx, meer dan 6000 km fietsen, 2500km lopen en circa 250 km zwemmen... de laatste training voor mijn rustweek. Volgende week zondag 6 augustus in Maastricht: de Iron Man voor het goede doel: het Puredreamcentre in Cambodja. Hierbij wil ik alvast alle donateurs en sponsoren bedanken voor hun bijdrage. Super gaaf en boven verwachting! Doneren mag uiteraard nog tot volgende week zondag via www.puredreamcentre.kentaa.com Ik heb er super veel zin in ! Wees sterker dan dat wat je tegenhoud.

An hours drive from the Pure Dream Centre is a great place for a splash. Great way to start the day. Back at PDC we enjoyed a tasty meal, before we continued with games...and traditionally around Khmer New Year these games include water, flour and talc powder. So just before the start of the Khmer New Year holiday we were all dusty from the flour, smelling of talc powder and our clothes could do with a wash...but that didn't matter much....cause of all the fun we had! Happy Khmer New Year holiday to all. Stay safe, happy and healthy!

After 1 1/2 year working at PDC we had to say goodbye and thank you to Nina! After music, tears, a great game and karaoke it is time to follow your dream. Good luck!!

After 3 months of preparation/selection it was great to welcome ten new students at the Pure Dream Centre today. Accompanied by their mothers they got to know their mentor Rou and all the other teachers. Next week they will have their first lessons at Pure Dream Centre.

We feel much safer now at PDC!
Last week the teachers participated in the first aid training offered by the Angkor Hospital for Children.

During PDC Summer School the students have many workvisits planned. Last visit our students were pleasently welcomed by ASMA Architects in Siem Reap.
The students learned about the difference between architects and civil engineers, about modern design...and much more.
They all loved seeing the model of the house and then the real house in progress. Some of our students have the dream to become an architect and got more motivated to achieve that dream!
