St. Kitts & Nevis Crowned Champions at The Alliance: Hoops & Heritage β FIBA 3x3 Lite Quest
The St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (SKNABA) proudly congratulates Team SKN on capturing the championship title at The Alliance: Hoops & Heritage β FIBA 3x3 Lite Quest held in St. Eustatius from June 12β15, 2026.
Represented by Cecil Angel, Makari Gumbs, Tyquan Rogers, and Daivique Osbourne, under the guidance of Coach/Manager Wendell Pemberton, Team SKN displayed resilience, determination, and championship poise throughout the tournament.
SKN opened the competition with a convincing 21-10 victory over St. Eustatius, before narrowly falling to St. Maarten 19-18 in a thrilling contest. The team quickly rebounded, defeating Saba 21-6 to secure a place in the knockout stage.
In the quarterfinals, SKN overcame Anguilla 15-12, advancing to a highly anticipated semifinal clash against St. Eustatius' top team. In one of the most dramatic games of the tournament, SKN edged their opponents 20-19 to book a place in the championship game.
Facing a strong Suriname side in the final, Team SKN once again rose to the occasion, earning a hard-fought 16-13 victory to claim the championship trophy and continue the federation's growing success in 3x3 basketball.
This achievement highlights the continued development of 3x3 basketball in St. Kitts and Nevis and serves as another proud moment for our basketball community.

SKNABA Announces Historic Qualification of St. Kitts and Nevis for 3x3 Basketball at the CAC Games Santo Domingo 2026
Basseterre, St. Kitts β The St. Kitts-Nevis Amateur Basketball Association is proud to announce a historic milestone for national basketball, as St. Kitts and Nevis has officially qualified to participate in the 3x3 Basketball competition at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games, Santo Domingo 2026.
This achievement marks the first time in the history of basketball in St. Kitts and Nevis that the federation will participate in a multi-sport games through the sport of basketball.
Confirmation of the qualification was communicated by FIBA Americas, which informed the National Federation that St. Kitts and Nevis had secured its place among the qualified teams for the Santo Domingo 2026 Games.
SKNABA President Mr. Glenn Jeffers shared the exciting news with member clubs, describing the accomplishment as a proud and history-making moment for the basketball fraternity and the wider nation.
> βIt is indeed a pleasure and great satisfaction that I share this history-making achievement that St. Kitts and Nevis has qualified to participate in the CAC Games in Santo Domingo in 3x3 basketball,β President Jeffers stated. βThis is the first time ever in our history that, in the sport of basketball, St. Kitts and Nevis will participate in a multi-sports games.β
President Jeffers extended congratulations to all who contributed to this landmark success, including the national 3x3 basketball family, players, coaches, referees, team managers, administrators, supporters, and the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee.

Basseterre St. Kitts, The St. Kitts - Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (SKNABA) extends official congratulations to Mr. Sheldon Chiverton-Blake on successfully attaining his FIBA E-Learning License as a FIBA Table Official.
Mr. Chiverton-Blakeβs achievement represents another positive step in the continued development and professional advancement of basketball officials within St. Kitts and Nevis. His certification through FIBAβs digital learning platform strengthens the federationβs technical capacity and supports SKNABAβs ongoing efforts to raise standards in game administration, officiating, and overall basketball operations.

In 2026, Daivique Osbourne delivered one of the most dominant individual campaigns ever witnessed in SKNABA basketball, leading the ASC Jayhawks to championship glory while collecting an astonishing

From the Junior Division to the A Division and even on the regional stage, Daivique consistently proved he was the player to beat. He captured *Regular Season MVP* and *Finals MVP* honors in both the Junior and A Divisions, led the Junior Division in scoring with *404 points*, and helped guide the Jayhawks to championship titles.
His dominance extended beyond local competition as he represented St. Kitts & Nevis at the ANOCES U23 3x3 Tournament, where Team SKN captured the championship and Daivique finished as the tournament's leading scorer.

The ASC Jayhawks have officially etched their names into SKNABA history, completing a remarkable Finals sweep over the previously undefeated Unlimited Supplies Fig Tree Ballers to capture the 2026 SKNABA βAβ Division Championship.
Coming into the Finals, Fig Tree Ballers had been the team to beat all season long, cruising through the regular season without a single loss and establishing themselves as the league's dominant force. However, championships are not won on paper, and the Jayhawks proved exactly why.
On June 2nd, 2026, at Basketball City, the Jayhawks completed the job with a decisive Game 2 victory, securing the series 2-0 and handing Fig Tree Ballers their second consecutive loss after an undefeated campaign. The Finals began with a statement performance from the Jayhawks in Game 1, where they handed Fig Tree their first loss of the entire season and seized momentum that they would never relinquish.
Fueled by determination, teamwork, and championship composure, the Jayhawks rose to the occasion when it mattered most. After battling throughout the season, they saved their best basketball for the biggest stage, dethroning the league's unbeaten giants and claiming the ultimate prize.
