Today starts the second phase of athletic preparation. From today the athletes will learn proper technique for specific events. Additionally, they will be placed into event groups with different ability levels. They will be divided into Elite, Developmental and Beginner groups in order to maintain cohesiveness between the athletes and to encourage competitiveness among each other. PERFORMANCE is the objective in the long run and these measures would almost guarantee the objective is accomplished.

Highlights from the 2nd Annual EVPA conference. This year we had four presentations. The President, Dalton Esdaille of EVTC, presented on Shamier Little, 400mh phenom and her lifestyle change to become great. Then nurse, Thelesha Gordon, presented on proper nutrition and Sleep regimen for athletes. Tracey Wattley presented on Psychological Skills training. To close the evening, Director Donnell Esdaille presented on the Vision and the journey to be taken by the members of the programme. The athletes left with a wealth of knowledge and the event was very much appreciated by all present.
