Are you only living for the weekends?
If you’re counting down to Friday every week, your body may be trying to tell you something.
Many leaders have become so accustomed to pressure that stress feels normal.
The constant busyness.
The mental exhaustion.
The feeling that you’ll finally breathe when the weekend arrives.
But you weren’t meant to spend five days surviving so you can enjoy two.
The goal isn’t to eliminate pressure.
The goal is to learn how to remain steady in the middle of it.
That’s why I created Steady in the Storm – A Leader’s Reset Toolkit.
Inside you’ll find simple, practical tools to help you regulate your nervous system, release tension, and reset before stress becomes your normal.
Get instant access through the link in my bio.
What would change if you didn’t have to wait until the weekend to feel like yourself again?

You weren’t meant to spend five days surviving so you could enjoy two.
Yet for many professionals, the week becomes something to endure rather than experience.
If you’re constantly counting down to Friday, feeling exhausted by midweek, or needing the weekend to recover, there may be more stress in your system than you realize.
Pressure is part of leadership.
Living in survival mode doesn’t have to be.
That’s why I created Steady in the Storm – A Leader’s Reset Toolkit.
This self-paced toolkit includes practical exercises to help you calm your mind, regulate your nervous system, and navigate pressure with greater ease.

We breathe in order to live, but what I’ve also found to be true is that we can use our breath not only to survive, but to thrive during difficult moments.
When pressure rises, we often hold tension in our bodies. Our breathing becomes shallow instead of deep. Yet breathing is life. It brings relief, creates space, and signals to the body that it is safe.
This is what I’ve come to discover, and it’s why the very first technique in Steady in the Storm: A Leader’s Rest Toolkit is breathing.
Before you make the next decision, lead the next meeting, or navigate the next challenge, start with your breath.

Nobody warns you that success gets heavy in a small place.
Where everybody knows you, standing out can feel like standing apart and rising where you're from comes with a weight that doesn't get talked about enough.
In this week's episode of The Wavelength, I'm breaking down four pressures that come with becoming successful in a small community:
→ The pressure to be liked
→ The pressure to conform
→ The pressure to be mediocre
→ The pressure to stay comfortable
These are the pressures I've faced and learned to navigate over the years, and if you're a leader trying to grow in a small community, I think you'll recognise more than a few of them.
