We would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to Sha Rêz, Jamie Cornelius, and Sharlene Martin for their efforts in rescuing and reporting hawksbill sea turtle hatchlings emerging last week! Thanks to their report to the Sea Turtle Hotline, 18 hatchlings were rescued and successfully released into the ocean. This video shows their trek to the ocean under the careful observation of SKSTMN Staff using red lights so that the hatchlings do not become disoriented. Hopefully the tiny hawksbill ladies will be back to nest in St. Kitts in 40 years! Thanks again!
