Founded, created, and directed by Jay Kim, the International Ballet Summer Intensive (IBSI) is held for 3-weeks in Incheon, Korea on the University of Utah Asia Campus in the state-of-the-art studios of the Incheon Global Campus. Students from America and Korea attend the program that highlights exceptional training, coaching, guidance, and mentorship in Russian ballet from a stellar faculty of the leading companies of the world, international cultural exchange and excursions, and culminates in a Gala housed in its 1800 seat auditorium.

The IBSI Gala and International Ballet Summer Intensive Program has its grand finale bow as the curtain goes down on its amazingly successful inaugural year. Congratulations to IBSI Director Jay Kim in the success of creating this stellar international program.

🌟 IBSI was honored the have the Heima .official dance group, Season 3 Finalists on NBC’s Worldofdance, close the IBSI Gala with a set of fabulous contemporary, hip hop fusion, and freestyle routines, that included their “La La La” piece. We were all starstruck and moved by their dramatic, synchronized gestures and jaw-dropping moves that defied gravity.
