Around 3 years ago I started a journey into Pro Wrestling in Korea. I debuted just under 2 years ago. I've come a long way since then, and have no plans on stopping now.

June 14th. I reached the top of the mountain and won the Seoul City Championship. I had a gruelling match with a gritty veteran, took my lumps and came out on top.
I was champion...for around an hour.
Backed into a corner, I was forced to take on a second match that night. It was the toughest night of my life. I suffered a lacerated ear, a bruised eye socket, a swollen jaw, and a powerbomb from the apron onto hard concrete, injuring an already hurt disc problem in my lower back.
I have regrets, mistakes that I wish I hadn't made.

But I'll be back.
Now that I know I have what it takes to reach the top, I need to get back there.

The toughest contest I've ever faced in over 12 years of grappling.
I was ready physically and mentally, but my lack of experience showed through and I tripped at the last hurdle.
The most deserving opponent won and a new champion was made of Choi Dueok.
I learned a lot from this match and once I've recovered I'll bounce back smarter and better than ever.

Never underestimate the knight.

Things didn't go the way I imagined, I have a lot of work to put in if I'm going to climb back up to title contention. But I learned a lot and I was happy to put on a show for everyone.

With all the damage and unpredictability that comes with a fight, one mistake can be the difference between a win and a loss. I will admit that I made several mistakes in this match, but even so it took almost 15 minutes to put me down.

This is a man who took the title through cunning and dirty tactics. A scumbag who became a champion through bullying and backstabbing. I should have seen it coming. I won't make those mistakes again.

A friend...no, someone I *thought* was a friend, told me that I need to work smarter. So that's my goal in 2024. To come back to this point and take away the title you never deserved.

It's not enough for me to be the most skilled submission grappler in Korea. I need to be more.

I need to be two moves ahead.
