Korean Terminology: λ΄κ³΅ (neh gong) β ε
§ε
Neh gong means internal strength β but not the kind you show off. It's the strength built quietly, over years, through reps of coordinating breath and movement
It compounds slowly. And it doesn't leave quickly either.
If you want to train the internal side directly that's exactly what Moo Pahl Dan Kuhm was built for. Sixteen gentle exercises (the Moo Duk Kwan set plus its Ba Duan Jin counterpart) for breath control, mobility, and strength, with a bonus seminar on how to apply them in practice. It's become a favorite with our more mature students, but it's genuinely useful cross-training for any martial artist.
Whether you're a white belt or a black belt, the process is the same: show up, do the work, trust the accumulation.
Tag someone who'd benefit from training their internal side. π
