🇰🇷 이탈리아 스포츠의 날 2026

오늘 Seoul Calcio F.C.는 주한 이탈리아 대사관저에서 열린 Italian Sport Day 2026에 함께했습니다. Seoul Calcio F.C.의 창립자이자 Head Coach인 Matteo Cerica 코치는 스피치를 통해 Seoul Calcio가 추구하는 축구 문화와 가치, 그리고 앞으로의 비전을 소개했습니다.

Seoul Calcio가 만들고 싶은 것은 단순히 축구를 하는 팀이 아닙니다.

“Everyone can be a football player.”

축구와 스포츠를 통해 국적과 언어, 문화의 차이를 넘어 사람들이 만나고 소통하며 함께 성장할 수 있는 환경을 만드는 것. 그리고 남자팀, 여자팀, 축구교실을 함께 발전시키며, 누구에게나 열려 있으면서도 체계적이고 지속 가능한 축구 문화를 서울에 만들어가는 것이 우리의 목표입니다.

또한 Matteo 코치가 함께하고 있는 비영리단체 ASGA를 통해 스포츠를 사회적 포용과 교류의 도구로 활용하는 다양한 활동에도 참여하고 있습니다.

이탈리아의 축구 문화에서 시작해 한국에서 성장하는 Seoul Calcio F.C.

오늘 Italian Sport Day는 우리가 왜 이 프로젝트를 시작했고, 어떤 가치를 가지고 앞으로 나아가고 싶은지 함께 나눌 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

Today, Seoul Calcio F.C. had the pleasure of taking part in Italian Sport Day 2026, held at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Seoul.
During the event, Seoul Calcio founder and Head Coach Matteo Cerica shared the club’s football culture, values, and vision for the future.

Seoul Calcio was created to be more than just a football team.

“Everyone can be a football player.”

We believe football and sport can bring people together beyond differences in nationality, language, and culture — creating an environment where people can meet, communicate, and grow together. Our goal is to continue developing our men’s team, women’s team, and football academy, while building an accessible, structured, and sustainable football culture in Seoul.

Through Matteo’s involvement with the non-profit organization ASGA, we also take part in initiatives that use sport as a tool for social inclusion and community connection.

Born from Italian football culture. Growing in Korea.

Italian Sport Day was a meaningful opportunity to share why we started this journey, the values behind Seoul Calcio, and the kind of club we want to build for the future.

Few hours ago, football lost one of its greatest legends.

Franco Baresi wasn't just one of the greatest defenders of all time—he redefined what it meant to be a defender.

At a time when defenders were expected to mark their opponent, clear the ball and react to danger, Baresi changed the game.

He defended through anticipation rather than tackling, organized the entire defensive line, mastered the offside trap, and became the first playmaker from the back. He proved that intelligence, positioning and leadership could be more powerful than physical strength.

Just three weeks earlier, Baresi had torn his meniscus against Norway. His World Cup seemed over.

Against all odds, he returned to captain Italy in the biggest match of all.

For 120 minutes, he delivered one of the greatest defensive performances in football history, keeping Romário—one of the world's most dangerous strikers—under control through anticipation, composure and leadership.

When the match went to penalties, despite being completely exhausted, he stepped forward to take Italy's first penalty.

He missed.

But great leaders are not remembered for the penalties they miss.

They are remembered because they never hide from responsibility.

🇰🇷 한-불 수교 140주년을 기념하는 뜻깊은 행사에 코치 마테오가 초대되어 함께할 수 있어 큰 영광이었습니다.

140년 동안 한국과 프랑스는 문화, 예술, 스포츠를 비롯한 다양한 분야에서 교류와 우정을 이어오며 서로에게 영감을 주는 소중한 관계를 만들어 왔습니다.

특히 축구는 언어와 국경을 넘어 사람들을 하나로 연결하는 힘을 가지고 있습니다. 저는 스포츠가 양국의 미래 세대에게도 협력과 존중, 그리고 꿈을 향한 도전의 가치를 전하는 중요한 가교가 되기를 바랍니다.

For 140 years, Korea and France have built a remarkable friendship through cultural exchange, artistic collaboration, and mutual respect across many fields, including sports.

Football has a unique ability to bring people together beyond language, borders, and backgrounds. I believe sport serves as a powerful bridge that inspires future generations with the values of teamwork, respect, and ambition.

Like sport, art has the power to connect people, foster understanding, and create lasting bonds between cultures. Together, they play an important role in strengthening friendship and shaping a brighter future.

🇰🇷 6월 2일, 이탈리아 공화국 기념일(Festa della Repubblica)을 맞아 서울칼초의 마테오 코치가 주한 이탈리아 대사관저에서 열린 공식 기념행사에 참석했습니다.

이날 행사에서는 주한 이탈리아 대사님, 성평등가족부 장관님을 비롯한 각계 주요 인사 및 귀빈들과 함께 이탈리아 공화국 기념일을 축하하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

또한 서울칼초를 소개하고 한국과 이탈리아를 잇는 스포츠·문화 교류의 가치를 나누는 소중한 기회가 되었습니다. 앞으로도 서울칼초는 축구를 통해 양국의 우정과 협력을 더욱 발전시키는 데 기여하겠습니다.

Today, the world of sport says goodbye to Alex Zanardi.
A champion, a fighter, and above all a symbol of resilience, courage, and the will to never give up.
His story went far beyond racing, medals, and victories. Alex showed the world that sport is not only about winning, but about standing up again, facing adversity, and continuing to inspire others through strength, dignity, and passion.
For Seoul Calcio F.C., his legacy is a reminder of what sport should teach every player:
to fight through difficulties, to believe in yourself, and to keep moving forward even when life becomes harder than any match.

🇰🇷오늘 서울칼초FC의 마테오 코치는 KSPO 국민체육진흥공단의 초대로 「영광의 기억, 이어지는 유산」Memories of Glory, Enduring Legacy 이탈리아 대사관과 함께하는 서울올림픽 조각공원 투어에 참석했습니다.

이번 자리에는 에밀리아 가토 주한 이탈리아 대사님, 빈첸조 타마린도 경제참사관님, 다비데 스칼마니 이탈리아문화원장님을 비롯해 KSPO 하형주 이사장님, 박용철 전무이사님, 성욱제 본부장님, 한국체육대학교 문원재 총장님 등 많은 귀빈들이 함께했습니다. 회의장에서는 스포츠의 가치, 이탈리아와 한국 간의 스포츠 외교, 그리고 앞으로의 협력 가능성에 대해 뜻깊은 대화를 나누었습니다.
