This week we are discussing our most popular club: Saddle Club! Have any of you ever participated in a saddle club back home?
The summer version of our spring/fall after school activity, Saddle Club will take place in July and August at the superb The One Horse Club located in Namyangju. This commuter club is best for kids who want a little more than just a one-time horse riding experience. The certified riding instructors, specially trained in the teaching of children, will help kids improve their confidence as they learn both basic and intermediate horsemanship skills (mounting/dismounting, intermediate steering, transitions between walk and trot, sitting and posting trot, etc). But true to its name and just like horse clubs back home, Saddle Club is about much more than just horse riding—each riding lesson is accompanied by a groundwork lesson. These groundwork lessons (on horse psychology, proper horse nutrition, feeding and grooming, tacking up, etc.) are vital for students to learn about and become more comfortable with the horses they intend to command.
To give families the most flexibility in choosing a session that fits their schedule, there will be three sessions in two week blocks offered throughout the summer. All session days are Tuesday through Friday (4 days a week) for two weeks, with two classes offered a day (choose one: morning or afternoon).
Club Dates: Session 1 ( Jun 30 – Jul 11), Session 2 (Jul 14 – Jul 25), Session 3 (Jul 28 – Aug 8)
Club Days: Tuesday – Friday (You may choose the morning class or the afternoon class)
Price: 855,000 won (if you register by 5/31 for Early Registration)
This includes transportation, safety equipment, and all the activities—very inexpensive when you consider how much it costs just to go horseback riding on your own!

For Session 1 and Session 2, we've designated shuttle service areas! This is the Shuttle Information section from the back page of our Summer Program brochure.
We've received a lot of calls and e-mails from Dwight and Yongsan International School Seoul (YISS), which are located north of the river, but we've also seen a lot of interest from schools south of the river, such as Seoul International School (SIS) and Gyeonggi Suwon International School (GSIS). I wonder which area will have more students.
Which area do you live in, River North or River South?

Today we’d like to discuss the first of our activities taking place this summer in CAU KID'S GLOBAL CLUB Summer Program. Take a read through and let us know what you think!
Taking place from June 24th to June 27th at the beautiful BerAdel Equestrian Club, this 3 night 4 day Saddle Camp is a really great opportunity for kids who have always wanted to experience horses and horse riding. The certified riding instructors will provide daily lessons and help kids learn the basics of horsemanship (mounting/dismounting, steering, transitioning, etc). But the camp is not just all riding—there will be a lot of other fun activities, such as crafts, campfires, and even zip lines, and chances for kids to make new friends as everyone has a good time together at Saddle Camp.
Camp Dates: 6/24-6/27
Price: 690,000 won (if you register by 5/31 for Early Registration)
This includes transportation, accommodations, food, and all the activities—very inexpensive when you consider how much it costs just to go horseback riding on your own!
As a special note, since we are only offering one session of Saddle Camp, we expect spots to go quickly, so best register before your child loses his/her chance to join!
