24 YEARS OF LYRICAL MIRACLES: Tonight was so special, hearing thousands of people sing along to words I first heard in Bart’s kitchen. I’ve been working closely with him for so many years and nights like this always make me cry. He works so hard and is such an intuitive writer and a born storyteller. It’s my honor to serve him in getting the most out his lyrics, together we weigh every word like it’s a holy recipe. Because it is. I love this band deeply and I cannot wait for the next 24 years. They keep raising the bar- in Dutch and in English! Thank you my loves - so much for so very much! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

TINY BUT MIGHTY...this confidence hack works! ⚓
Over 70% of adults suffer from glossophobia - fear of speaking in public.
Let me help - welcome to my coaching technique I call ‘the Anchor’.
I developed the Anchor approach many years ago when I was coaching a famous guitarist. He totally rocked that stage all over the world, but when he had to give a press conference or meet with his label, he felt naked and vulnerable without his guitar strapped onto his body. It was literally his shield.
He couldn’t take his guitar with him everywhere, so I designed an Anchor for him to take his guitar with him everywhere. But no one could see it.

It was his guitar pick.
He started taking his beloved guitar pick (plus a reserve, just in case) with him everywhere. To the supermarket. On the plane. At all those important meetings. Everywhere. Tucked neatly inside his pocket.
Nobody saw it, but he felt it.
His guitar was with him constantly, and when he touched his pocket, it was a physical reminder which anchored him to his guitar.

My client was terrified about her keynote. We decided to create an anchor together.
She works in the field of sustainability and is creating a better future for our planet and its people.
She chose a photograph of her kids.
She found their tiny school portraits and taped them to a little piece of paper.
That paper was in her pocket every time she had to talk about sustainability.
When she got nervous or doubted what she was saying, all she had to do was touch that paper which brought her back to her why. Her passion. Her determination to leave this a better place for her children.

RAY OF LIGHT! 💡

Everyone knows Ray Klaassens- bestselling author, former Special Forces commander, TV personality, keynote speaker....and great guy. 💯

Everyone in the Netherlands knows him, I mean.

Now it’s time for the rest of the world to get to know him. 🚀

As a high-performance communication coach, it’s such an honor to coach people who have taken over the media or business landscape in their home country in spreading their message across the globe. Why keep all that goodness to yourself? There are so many valuable lessons to share with the world. 🤩

However...can you tell your story the same way in English as you do in Dutch? Just translate it and hope for the best?
Hella no.

Ik zeg altijd: je bent een voetbalster. Hartstikke goed in wat je doet. 🏆
Je hebt thuiswedstrijden en uitwedstrijden. Voor een uitwedstrijd moet je op een ander veld spelen, met een ander publiek. Het eten is anders, de liedjes zijn anders. En je shirt is ook anders. Je trekt een ander shirt aan voor een uitwedstrijd.

Je past je aan een ander publiek aan.

The same goes in English. The basic message is the same, but the style is different. In English, we want to feel connected to you. We love storytelling, putting the WHY behind the WHAT first, getting into the emotion of the triumphs and the battles...and feeling deeply aligned with the person on that stage. In Dutch, facts speak for themselves, but in English they are packaged with a moving story that has impact and value.

This is what we are working on. We are trying on new shirts to see how they feel. And so far...it feels GREAT! 🤗

It’s such an honor and this man is going to graduate KAMP BUFFI with flying colors! 🥇

THIS IS MY FACE AT 58. No filters, no makeup, no fillers. Just the face of someone who has lived, loved, lost, and laughed. A lot. With no plans of changing or stopping.🥰

Getting older has made me clearer, braver, and much less interested in wasting my precious time and energy. I focus now on what really matters. 💯

😍 I say no more easily.
😍I rest without earning it first.

😍I pay more attention to the ordinary, beautiful things that used to pass me by.
