Sunset Rooftop Yoga w/Live DJ & Social - Chuseok Holiday Event at Plant Bakery !

On Saturday 9/26 ×e are heading back to the new Plant bakery cafe rooftop for another yoga w/live DJ beats event. And as this coincidentally lands on Isabel Kwak Yoga | Resonance Flow | Gong & Soundbath Leader 's birthday, we thought we'd run this one at sunset time!

The event feature an all-levels fusion 90 minute yoga session, led by The Flow Room | Seoul's 1st English-led Yoga Studio | Gong Room teachers Isabel Kwak Yoga | Resonance Flow | Gong & Soundbath Leader & Kate ㅣ Yoga teacher to live beats by DJ Botermelk followed by a light vegan Canapé snacks and desserts by Plant Cafe Seoul 플랜트 and a drink on the rooftop (sparkling wine cocktail / beer / non-alcoholic)

DATE: Saturday Sept. 26th
SCHEDULE:
- 5pm: Check-in & welcome
- 5:15pm - 6:45pm: Yoga w/DJ beats
- 6:45pm: Drinks, snacks and social with music 🎶

What to bring:
- Bring your own yoga mat (standard size only)
- mat rental is available for 5,000krw, and must be pre-booked & pre-paid when booking.
- Suitable clothes/gear for the day’s weather.

Tickets:
- 40,000krw per person
- Includes rooftop yoga, DJ set, vegan snacks & a drink (sparkling wine cocktail / beer / non-alcoholic)

Location:
- 2 Sinheung-ro 3ga-gil, Yongsan District, Seoul (Rooftop)
(NOTE: This is the Plant Bakery Cafe in HBC, NOT the restaurant by Itaewon station. Please do NOT go to the Itaewon restaurant or the Flow Room Yoga Studio).

- Payments are via Korean bank transfer.
- If you do not have Korean banking, payments can be sent via Wise to the same account. If you need help with payments, please contact The Flow Room.
- 72 hour cancellation notice & rescheduling between the 2 classes applies.

*Photos will be taken at this event, which may be shared on social media & used for future promotion. All participants will receive copies.

We'll be back next time, but until then you can catch this flow at our Vinyasa 1 and Vinyasa 2 classes here The Flow Room | Seoul's 1st English-led Yoga Studio | Gong Room (these classes are our namesake, afterall 😉) and also for sunset on the rooftop Plant Bakery on 9/26 (Isabel's birthday special 👀)

So honoured to be featured on this list representing Korea - and even more so that our studio was the cover page!

But what means the most isn't just the recognition of our studio as one of Asia's go-to international yoga studios, but how closely the description reflects what we've been trying to build over the last seven years:

~"Travel for wellness is starting to look a little different. Instead of booking full retreats or staying at resorts, more people are looking for a studio in a new city where they can join a class and feel comfortable right away, even if they do not know anyone there.

These are eight yoga studios across Asia that both locals and travellers keep coming back to, not only for the classes but for the sense of community around them".~

ANNOUNCEMENT: To celebrate our 7th year anniversary, we've bought the studio, our members and our visitors a little present... brand new yoga mats from ✨️✨️✨️

Our studio mats are available for everyone to use and are included in the class. To help keep our new mats in great condition, please kindly note the following:

1. Please spray and wipe the mats after use.
2. Please leave the mats out on the floor to dry after wiping before rolling up.
3. If you are attending a hot and sweaty class or know you like a good sweat, please consider brining a towel to class.
4. Please consider wiping your feet before use - especially in summer :)
