For five days, our campers will step into a pirate-themed story, with every adventure inspired by the world of pirates! 🏴‍☠️

Each day brings a new mission to complete and a new clue to collect — all leading up to Date 5, when they put the clues together for the ultimate Treasure Hunt! 💰✨

“This post means a lot to me because it reflects so much of what I believe Kuwait Sailing School is really about. ❤️

When we started KSS, the idea was to provide sailing courses and get more kids on the water. But over the years, watching them grow in front of us, I realised that sailing is only one part of what happens here.

Those who know me know how strongly I feel about respect and independence.

And respect goes much deeper. Boys and girls, different nationalities, cultures and religions — we learn together, celebrate each other and respect our differences. There is no “us and them” here.

What makes me happiest is seeing the little changes over time. A child becoming more independent, more confident, more responsible, more accepting of others — while being outdoors, away from screens, making mistakes, making friends and figuring things out.

Because we’re not only watching them become better sailors. We’re watching them grow.

They come to us to learn how to sail. I hope they leave with so much more. ❤️”

Whether they’re joining us after school or spending their weekends sailing, young sailors will build skills, confidence and independence — while having plenty of fun along the way.

Rolling Hitch: In sailing, it grips a loaded line to take the strain off a jammed sheet so a winch can be cleared. It can also attach a snubber to an anchor rode, transferring the load and reducing shock on the windlass. Beyond sailing, it’s useful for tensioning tent guy lines, securing loads and pulling or adjusting ropes 🤙🏼
